The host and the servers provided exemplary service. The food were as in the photos, eye candy. The best part, they were even better in taste! The server paired the right wine with the right dish, making the experience exceptional!

Would love to go back to try their extensive wine collection!

Wonderful restaurant in a great location. I arrived with no reservation and was given a table. I chose not to do the six course tasting as I didn’t fancy two dishes but the alacarte was just as good. Lovely wines and space

Highly recommend this place if you visit Budapest.  Our experience from the moment we walked in until the time we had to pay was perfect.

Food is incredible and so is the wine. I would go back for that Wagyu!

Waiter gifted us some appetisers and deserts on the house.

It’s easy to see why the team at Borkonyha has their 1 star, the service is honestly outstanding! All the wait staff know their stuff really well all the dishes in great detail. When we asked about certain wines they were very gracious in opening new bottles for us to try. The recommendations were much appreciated.

The dishes were a great mix of classic and creative I got to enjoy some new things this time around. The fish was slightly saltier than I expected but that could have been a personal preference.

I can see this place picking up its 2nd star with some minor improvements

Very nice experience overall. The entire restaurant runs smoothly, and the menu is both complex in flavors and history and perfectly sized. I recommend asking about their wine selection. I would definitely visit again
