The attention to detail and quality of the food is phenomenal. The restaurant is located in a spot that’s not very accessible by public transportation, though taxis are readily available. I didn’t realize there’s a hotel on-site, but I highly recommend staying there.

The vineyard is stunning, and the chef’s attention and service are exceptional. The only drawback I noticed is that they could improve on cooking seafood. However, the pasta I had here rivals some of the best I’ve had in Italy.

Stayed at Da Vittorio for 2 nights early on in July. After living in Italy for 5 years, it was only one of the remaining couple 3 Michelin star restaurants I hadn't been to before. My wife and I arrived hungry, not even expecting to do lunch as we had a dinner reservation, but we happened to do a 20 km hike the day before and arrived early right at 1pm. They were able to accommodate us and we decided to go straight for the tasting menu. Da Vittorio rates amongst the very best when it comes to food, service and staff. After quite a big meal you could imagine that another tasting menu was not in order for dinner. To our surprise the chef came out and discovered what we enjoyed most, knowing we wanted to keep it fairly light and cooked a completely customized 3 course menu for us. It was perfect. The accommodations and property are beautiful. Unfortunately the pool area was closed for construction which was quite a disappointment, and it also was one of the hottest days of the year and even with air conditioning our room stayed above 23.5 the entire stay. Despite this, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay, bringing up a fan unprompted. I'd highly recommend Da Vittorio. I'd easily put it in the top 5 places I've dined, which is a pretty impressive feat. Thanks to the entire staff for the enjoyable stay.

We stopped menu in the middle, couldn’t take anymore cheese in basically every dish.
What happened to our beloved restaurant?
Sheer disappointment!!!!

We discovered Da Vittorio about10 years ago and it instantly became our favourite restaurant in the world.
Every year we made an effort to spend few days in the area with dinner or two in this place.
Sometimes we flew in just for dinner here.
This is how much we loved it.

However it all changed. The truffle menu was unimaginative, repetitive ingredients, heavy and  tastes clashing with truffles.
Basically you can’t taste truffle in most of the dishes.
Presentation was weak as well, plates looked identical and definitely not exiting.

Nothing like before!

My guess it’s expansion to blame.
New menu looks more like a conveyer belt dishes, where less imagination/ ingredients/ work involved.

Even though the dishes were small (usual practice for this type of restaurant), I hardly touched 2 of the last served.
NO ONE asked what’s wrong and if I am satisfied with it.
This kind of attitude is acceptable in fast food chain but there?
They basically don’t care anymore.
Money money money.

When we stopped menu, AGAIN, no questions asked.
It took them almost an hour to bring the bill after few reminders and the whole amount was charged.
At that point I didn’t really care about the money, but was heartbroken that our trips to Da Vittorio have to end.

The good thing that we checked it before making 26 people reservation for hotel/restaurant for our anniversary. Saved lots of money and disappointments.

I really wonder how they managed to keep 3 stars. Old reputation? Connections? Certainly not for the food.

And service. The number of employees has doubled, became messier and lost all the cosines of elevated Nonna’s experience.
1 star at most.

Reception. The blond girl at the desk took immediate dislike of me, didn’t even hide it, and registered me as a Russian. Not that I care much considering my surname. Just I am German citizen and have never lived in Russia. Silly incident but very weird.

Room. It was impeccable: spacious, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and lots of attention to details, lovely terrace.
Loved it, even though it didn’t have any soundproofing.
4 stars.

Breakfast was outstanding. Service and food.

Our stay at Da Vittorio back in May 2024 was truly exceptional—a 10/10 experience. From the moment we were warmly welcomed by Bruna and Rosella, every detail was thoughtfully attended to by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. We began our visit with an aperitif in the garden, setting the tone for what would be one of the most interesting and delicious meals we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The atmosphere was both cozy and elegant, and truly added to our evening. The breakfast buffet is also highly recommended. All in all: EXCELLENT FOOD AND AN EVEN BETTER EXPERIENCE.

Excellent experience with all the trappings of a fine dining meal.

The setting is breath taking. The service is a great mix of professional and friendly. Excellent wine list with a top notch sommelier. The food, as expected, was delicious, beautifully presented and had a lot of pomp and show (table side finishing of pasta, petits fours on a mini Ferris wheel, a large bonbon cart etc). Only a few of dishes in our 8 course menu though were absolutely stellar from a taste perspective though.

Overall, it was worth the 150 km detour from our planned holiday itinerary
