Del Cambio is, unfortunately, a major disappointment, especially given its reputation and exorbitant prices. The dishes, while visually appealing, fall far short in terms of flavor and originality. It feels like more effort is put into presentation than the actual quality of the food. For what’s on offer, the prices are absolutely outrageous.

The service is nothing short of abysmal. Wait times are long, and when staff finally make their appearance, they come across as uninterested and inattentive. For a restaurant that claims to offer fine dining, this is completely unacceptable. Del Cambio seems to rely heavily on its historical significance and location, but misses the essence of what a true gastronomic experience should be.

In short, this restaurant is not worth the money and offers far too little value for the price.

Actually a tourist attraction, it was an icon in Turin, they showcase an excellent execution in the kitchen. Service is extremely provincial with a number of wrong manouvres to accomodate the turists that are the mainl customers. The kitchen is still the reason to come. Extremely expensive for what it delivers. There are better restaurants in the area at a fraction of the price. Unfortunately. Not worth a visit unless someone is paying for you.

We had an ala carte menu and loved it, we tried the pigeon, the spaghetti, the rice and the salad. The salad is one of the best I have eaten in my life. It was made up on more than 20 ingredients and was a great mix of Piedmontese food with some Japanese influence. We coupled this with nice Barolo wine ( not very expensive once taken by the glass) and some good bread. The pasta was above average and the rice definitely very tasty. Suggest going to this restaurant more for the experience and the decor. It was established in 1757 and feels like you’re eating a meal in history

A great restaurant that creates a real experience. The historic dining room is contrasted with contemporary cuisine that reflects Torino’s past while including modern, playful twists. We did the tasting menu but opted for a bottle of wine instead of the pairings and all of it was delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. Overall a top notch experience and we would definitely recommend.

We ate there this evening and the restaurant is beautiful, in an old fashioned, over the top way.  Service was very attentive, although when our 80 euro bottle of wine had cork in the glass the waiter said it was from the cork. Duh! Did not offer to replace the bottle.   The meal was VERY expensive, and did not warrant such cost.  I’ve eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants, so the price was not a shock, but the food was either too bland or too salty.  Nothing was great. Even the desert was just good, not great. A big disappointment!
