If you are touring michelin starred restaurants in Piemonte you must not miss a dinner at this icon of true hospitality. This is a place that is run by a family and works on passion, quality of ingredients and outstanding skill: very much unlike most of today’s corporate backed and TV sponsored starred restaurants. Dishes do not attempt to make you think too hard but like the namesake: they are designed to make you to smile. Menu is not ‘challenging’ or intellectually surprising: it’s a warm welcoming hug. Truffle like it’s raining and unmissable staples. I hope this style of restaurant comes back in fashion to overtake the current trend of restaurants that are maximalist in preparation, menus and wine lists but minimalist in feelings.

We arrived in the noon,1:00 PM, and be seated by the husband,Angelo Velazza himself. Then came the course which comprised with 6 courses with 5 wines. It's is good food. Only the beginning bread is good but can not be taken. It is too much. The Changnpen is the first drink and is good but don't drink it all. The latter wine are good . so keep your space for the good wines.
