Huge calzone for $5--great deal and tasted great!
Staff spoke passible English and with pointing we were able to get our needs met. Sommelier spoke wonderful English and helped us pick out wine for dinner and a bottle for take away.

Atmosphere was good, decor was nice. But the next couple who came in, the staff made them sit in the table right next to us. We are nice and I am sure they are too but the rest of the restaurant was empty--why not space us out so we can each have our own intimate experience? They didn't stay, that might have been why.

Harmless food, freezing room, we asked nicely to turn off the airway but the waitress refused due to  people of ONE table even though others tables were agreeing with us.  Rude way to respond to customers, mistaken orders : they wanted us to pay for drinks that we hadn’t ordered, cheddar pizza ?, 4€ for an iceberg salad without any spices, oil or others seasonings and dirty restrooms… to sum up, it was only a waste of time so just go on your way ; there are many restaurants in Lecce that deserve to be discovered instead of this one

Popped into the bar area and got ourselves a coffee, some spiced olive bread and some focaccia con patate with onions. As always with these places, pay for slices of bread by weight and individual items on a per item basis. Very reasonably priced.
The variety of what was on offer meant we could have feasted all day on both sweet and savoury.
They also had a ristorante area for sit down pastas and pizza, which looked delicious.
