We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It had an immaculate design and attention to detail throughout the property. The lobby and hallways were beautifully designed, creating a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Our room was spacious and just as beautifully decorated, with a small balcony overlooking the river with an awesome view.

The service was great. We requested an item for our room, and it was delivered very quickly. Everyone we encountered was extremely polite, professional, and eager to help.

The breakfast buffet was very nice including made-to-order omelets and eggs prepared to your liking.

If we return to Florence, we would absolutely stay here again!

The Westin Excelsior Florence is, without a doubt, the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Europe. Situated on a historic site, it offers breathtaking views of the Arno River and the stunning cityscape of Florence. The location is perfect—centrally positioned with most major attractions just a 10-15 minute walk away, and excellent restaurants on both sides of the nearby bridges.

The service provided by the hotel staff was absolutely exceptional, making our stay truly memorable. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the beautifully arranged Christmas decorations and the refreshing aroma that filled the air. During check-in, the front desk manager personally showed us the rooms we had reserved and ensured that our preferred temperature settings were adjusted to perfection. The housekeeping staff cleaned our rooms at least twice a day, ensuring everything remained spotless and immaculate throughout our stay.

The hotel’s design strikes a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern sophistication. Its exquisite wooden frames and high-end décor create a luxurious yet bright and welcoming atmosphere.

After we checked out, we realized we had left a small item behind. The housekeeping staff , management and concierge promptly contacted us to confirm they had found it and kindly offered to ship it back to our home free of charge. Their thoughtfulness and efficiency were truly impressive, and we cannot thank them enough.

Our entire experience at The Westin Excelsior Florence was unforgettable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

Was lucky enough to get a chance to stay at this historical property because of a work event we were organizing in Italy.

Due to my platinum status, I was upgraded to an Arno view room, and I must say everything about it was stunning. The room, the view and the little touches that the team has put into making our stay memorable.

Location wise it's perfect, since it's located in the middle of town. You can easily take a stroll around Florence, and there were lots of restaurants nearby. We had a few drinks at the bar and the service team were very friendly and efficient.

Breakfast was good as well, they had a small section of Asian food, which is quite rare in Europe.

All in all, it's a worth it place to stay if you could afford it. One of the better hotels in Florence.

I really had a wonderful experience in this beautiful hotel, it has a vibe of a  castle, with its wonderful staff, everyone there is welcoming, Friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was nice, and the poached eggs made be the chef is delicious.
Every single detail in this hotel is eye-catching.

The only thing I didn't like is that we didn't find a room with a view on the river, it was fully booked 🥲

I would definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to Florence 🤍 🇮🇹

Great location and a stunning hotel. You can see the Ponte Vecchio bridge from the rooms. We stayed here for 2 nights in 2018 and cannot wait to go back. Staffs were attentive and warm. Food was the best. One of the best 5* breakfast we had in Italy.
