The staff was friendly, the place looks good inside. The food was ok, but just that. An average okay restaurant, and for the price you pay, you'd expect something more. So I am calling this place overpriced. Additionally I paid coperto for two people despite dining alone at a table with one chair and one set of cutlery. Controversial, if you ask me. I'd give them 3 stars for food, but due to the coperto thing I'm giving 2 as it left me with an unpleasant feeling.

Easily the best risotto al pesce I've had in Venice.
Superb Lugano too, Ottellla le Creete, really memorable.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. When we arrived, there were four occupied tables outside, all two-seaters. As soon as one table opened up, a friendly couple kindly offered us theirs, so we sat down. Immediately after, the waiter approached us with an unnecessarily stern “Sit down after cleaning table, not before.” Following that, we waited 20 minutes while the remaining tables paid and left. Instead of serving us, the waiter went on to clear the other tables, completely ignoring us. After a full 30 minutes without any service, we decided to leave.

We have never been treated with such disrespect in a restaurant before. Would not recommend this place.

This is a cozy restaurant in Venice. They have outdoor seating but it was raining while we were there so we sat inside. I did make a reservation but I'm not sure if it was needed. They weren't busy when we arrived but slowly more people arrived. We ordered several dishes to share with the table. Please see photos to see the different dishes we tried. We were able to walk to the restaurant from our hotel, it was a beautiful walk through the walkways of Venice. FYI, the risotto is served as two orders and is meant for more than one person. We could barely finish it though since we ordered several other dishes.

The ricotta and spinach ravioli was fresh, creamy and so authentic… the cuttle fish ink pasta was creamy and flavorful…. Alfresco dining at its best on the side of a canal in Venice
