What a hidden gem! Upon arriving I was offered a complimentary glass of wine and a vegetable appetiser which was delicious. I had the pasta with squid and sicilian tomatoes which was delicious. Then I had lamb chops and polenta which was excellent. I ate every morsel. I got a complimentary dessert. The bill was €57 (which is a little pricier than I am used to but perhaps that is average for Venice). However I don't mind paying a bit more for food this good. I also received friendly and efficient service from the lovely Faruque. Highly recommend 👌

Was in Venice for a couple days.  Had a subpar meal the first day.  Found this place and it made the trip.  Servers were great and helpful for someone who didn’t speak local language.  Every thing we ordered was great. Owner came out to greet us at the end.  Highly recommend if in Venice.

We had a wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant in Venice! While waiting, we were offered complimentary wine, a lovely touch. The staff was exceptional, paying close attention to all our dietary restrictions. The risotto, gnocchi, and handmade pasta were all outstanding—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a true taste of Italy. We finished off with the tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Highly recommend this gem for its food and attentive service!

I was so disappointed in this dining experience from start to finish (but the service was great).

When we first entered, there was an extremely strong incense smell to the point where my head was starting to hurt. Service was fantastic, they noticed and said they would turn it off. But it soon became obvious why it was burning in the first place; the incense smell was slowly replaced with a strong smell of sewage.

We ordered 3 dishes. Our appetizer, prawns, was good. Our mains however were so bland, it was quite possibly the worst gnocchi and truffle tagliolini that I have had in my life. The presentation was less than stellar, and both dishes just lacked any flavor whatsoever. I’ve had numerous truffle pastas and know what they are supposed to taste like - this was definitely not it. No truffle flavor whatsoever, even slightly. And it had even been listed as their special for the day…

At the end, they offered us free desserts in exchange for a review.

I have been here twice now and each time has been an amazing experience. The service is great and all of the waiters are so friendly. Every time I have been here I have received complementary drinks and food. The restaurant overall has a great atmosphere, I will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Venice!
