The food was amazing ! I decided to pick the pulled pork, mash potato and bacon dish and it was delicious! I really enjoyed the food and would 100% come back. The dessert (white chocolate and bacon bits) was an odd mix but surprisingly went well together…..

I recommend coming to this place!!! The waitresses were all lovely and helpful !!!

😝 the smoke whale is hi-lights but it’s soo difficult for me. Dessert on set menu is so great. Recommend when u come to Oslo!

Food is very good. We had 3 courses meal. Grilled pork knuckles is crisp and delicious. The decoration is cute. So many pigs I have ever seen in a restaurant.

What a nice and cozy place!
The place is warm and it has a good atmosphere. Most of the dishes are pork based (which totally respect the name of the restaurant), but there also some fish and salad dishes.
I took the grilled pork knuckle (5 hours on the grill) and it was delicious!
Perfect crispy skin and very tender juicy meat inside. I’m salivating again while writing this review. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were also very good, and I think the sauce could have been better.
I also try the neck of pork which was also delicious. The beer pairing with the dishes were pretty good too.
The desserts though were a bit a disappointment, maybe after a heavy greasy meal they should have something more light and refreshing instead? Like fruity and not all cream/chocolate based desserts.
That’s just my opinion.
The waitress were all nice and smily, we were just a bit unlucky that our waiter was a bit unexperienced maybe and he made some mistakes, but not too bad.
The place is very busy so I suggest to reserve a table in advance.
Overall I had a good time and I will come back for sure!

Delicious crispy fish and chips and we loved trying the smoked whale. The pork stew was warming. The decor is fun and the bathrooms are very clean. The waitress was lovely and with the sun shining brightly on the outdoor tables it was a great way to spend lunch in Oslo. I would recommend this place to people visiting
