Terrible service and overall Experience. Great food when it finally arrived. We waited 50 minutes for our main meat courses to arrive. Fun fact: Norwegians don't bring their kids to restaurants. We found this out the hard way judging by all the stares from the locals at a 530 pm(?) booking. The setting is nice and the place came highly recommended by local friends, but unfortunately, our experience was terrible. The food took so long to arrive I took our starving kids to get pizza and dropped them off at the hotel - before returning to eat our main course. If you want to charge these prices and play this international cuisine game, you need to up your game in how you communicate with your patrons. The disinterested waitress who kept bumping into my wife's chair had no sense of awareness and was clueless in reading our situation. Unfortunately, Oslo is synonymous with terrible service and this was no different. Pro Tip: Don't bring your kids and eat before as the orders take forever. Otherwise, the food tastes great, the place is cozy, and has a nice atmosphere.

“I visited this place twice when it was a wine bar. After a complete renovation, it’s now a bistro. The interior is simple yet fresh, evoking a bistro or brasserie in southern Europe. The variety of dishes enhances this experience. The small space has tables lined up closely, and you can watch the open kitchen preparing your food. The service is nice and friendly. While there’s a good variety of wine, it’s relatively expensive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I tried leek purée, endive, escargot, pommes purée, grilled beef, and ice cream with rum and raisin. The menu seems to be variable. I recommend giving it a try. Note that it’s closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.”

We love this place and have visited since they was a cozy wine bar and we so excited to visit after the whole renovations and now they are a restaurant, The food was amazing, really delicious of everything we had ordered but not cheap would say a bit overpriced, I love the food but I don’t think I could afford to come very often, the restaurant is very small space, the seats is too close to other tables, it’s a long table where everyone sit together, I felt a bit uncomfortable and once you sat down, especially in the middle, it’s difficult to get out for toilet, the service was good.

A fantastic little gem in the hart of Oslo. I had a (very fair priced) great lunch accompanied by a lovely glass of wine. The food was perfectly prepared and served (ie the oysters served at a perfect temperature rather than freezing cold), the service was spotless, and the place has a super vibe.
