This is a must visit when in Funchal! The owner, Roberto is very friendly and knowledgeable about rum. The chocolate rum and caramel rum were delicious! He serves popcorn and has a great selection of music. Love the vibe!

Push past the blocks of restaurants with maître d’s fervently encouraging you to dine with them to this lovely labor of love with a fantastic soundtrack, an even better selection of defiantly simple and compelling cocktails and a robust variety of rums to taste. People watch at the outdoor tables or duck inside for a more intimate experience and a view of their extensive private rum collection. Top notch poncha available as well.

Our favourite place in Madeira! Roberto is very knowledgable and can tell you all about the rums and where they come from. He learnt what me and my friend liked and gave excellent recommendations for the nicest smoothest rums we’ve had!
