La experiencia en el restaurante Erre de Roca me pareció correcta, pero lamentablemente no cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Algunas cosas nos gustaron mucho, con el helado de iberico, la interpretación del pan tumaca o los ravioles. También nos gustaron los postres. En lo personal el pato me pareció super duro, no lo pude comer y lo terminó la persona que fue conmigo. Los platos me parecieron todos extremadamente pequeños, si no hubiese sido por el pan (que era excelente) nos hubiésemos ido con hambre. Yo esperaba un menú con 16 pasos, pero los 3 primeros ítems del menú era los amuse bouche. Muchísimos restaurantes ni los mencionan en el menú. Entiendo que lleva trabajo hacerlos y algunos estaban muy bien. Pero listarlos por separado, me parece deshonesto. Lo mismo con el pan. Uno tiene la sensación de que vienen muchos platos y terminan siendo porciones mínimas del tamaño de una galletita. De todos modos lo peor fue el maridaje de vinos. De nuevo las porciones que nos fueron servidas era mínimas, estimo que entra 0.05 y 0.075 litros. Si bien estaban a temperatura y servidas con el coravin, daba pena ver los poco llenas que estaban las bonitas copas austríacas. Por 75 euros, me parece un despropósito. Fueron quizá 6 o 7 vinos, todos muy mediocres y un coctel (ni siquiera hubo un espumante). Estando tan cerca de la zona de vinos de Rioja y Ribera me pareció un error no basar los vinos fuertemente en esas regiones. El gran final y mejor vino fue un San Román. Un vino que si bien es muy rico, es muy común, se ve en muchos supermercados y sale aproximadamente 30 euros. No tenemos ninguna intención en retornar y no lo recomendaría.

The experience at the Erre de Roca restaurant seemed correct to me, but unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. We really liked some things, with the Iberian ice cream, the interpretation of tumaca bread or the ravioli. We also liked the desserts. Personally, I thought the duck was super tough, I couldn't eat it and the person who went with me finished it. I found the dishes all extremely small, if it hadn't been for the bread (which was excellent) we would have left hungry. I was expecting a menu with 16 courses, but the first 3 items on the menu were the amuse bouche. Many restaurants don't even mention them on the menu. I understand that it takes work to make them and some were very good. But listing them separately seems dishonest to me. The same with bread. One has the feeling that many dishes come and end up being minimal portions the size of a cookie. Anyway, the worst thing was the wine pairing. Again, the portions that were served to us were minimal, I estimate between 0.05 and 0.075 liters. Although they were at temperature and served with the coravin, it was sad to see how little full the beautiful Austrian glasses were. For 75 euros, it seems absurd to me. There were maybe 6 or 7 wines, all very mediocre, and one cocktail (there wasn't even a sparkling wine). Being so close to the Rioja and Ribera wine area it seemed like a mistake not to base the wines heavily on those regions. The grand finale and best wine was a San Román. A wine that, although it is very delicious, is very common, it is seen in many supermarkets and costs approximately 30 euros. We have no intention of returning and I would not recommend it.
