First and foremost, the unnecessary insistence by the receptionist named Giulia / Julia during the check-out process caused us to miss our daughter's medal ceremony, which was the most distressing experience of our vacation. This incident left a sour note on what was supposed to be a joyous occasion.

On the positive side, the hotel's location is undeniably central, providing easy access to all the main attractions, shopping districts, and eateries in the city. However, this convenience does not compensate for the other shortcomings.

The hotel's breakfast was disappointing for the price paid - lacking in variety and quality, with many items feeling substandard or even reheated. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable; we found ourselves tossing and turning, unable to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the bathroom amenities were extremely basic, offering little more than the bare necessities.

Despite these drawbacks, the staff in the restaurant and lobby were friendly and attentive, always quick to offer assistance with a smile.

Overall, while the location is a significant advantage, this hotel definitely does not offer value for money.

First, the staff at the hotel were wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. We were treated like royalty! A special shoutout to Sam in the bar/ restaurant.
Second, the hotel was exceptionally nice and clean and updated. Elegant!
Third, perfect location to everything.
I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to be in St Moritz.
The food in the restaurant was very good as well.

Stayed here for 1 night last Friday for my 60th. We never told them prior to arriving, but must of noticed when we gave them our passport details. When the lovely lady checked us in, we were given a room upgrade and on a personal touch they gave me a bit bar of Toblerone chocolate with mine and the hotels name on it. The room was amazing overlooking the lake, we had a free mini-bar, another nice touch. The bed was super comfy and bathroom had everything you need. We a drinks that night in the piano bar, and the bar man was a cocktail genius, a master of his art. The Espresso Martini was the best we have ever tasted. He asked why we were visiting and when I told him he came back with birthday cake, such an amazing guy. Lastly breakfast was fantastic, the omelette chef made one of the best ever and the food selection was great. Would recommend this hotel 1000%. They helped to make my birthday just the best..thank you

Staying at this place for the 2nd time. Last time was the regular room overlooking the ermanno schervino - everything was ok. Not the newest room, but ok for its money. This time paid extra for the balcony and the lake view. Room was 107 with the huge balcony connected with about 8 other rooms. Queen bad means 2 separate mattresses. But the worst thing was started every evening at 23.00 - as I thought I’ve paid for a good quiet sleep after the day on the slopes, right under this room there is a night club. From 23.00 to 03.00 every night I’ve heard every beat and bass of their music. With this thing definitely doesn’t cost it money. So not sure next time will choose this hotel unfortunately. Interesting thing that even nobody at check out asked how was the stay)

This is a good hotel overall, however staff aren’t all the same level of service, specifically the breakfast area.  For two days of our stay the breakfast staff never bother asking if we would like coffee or anything hot during breakfast.  Don’t know if there is a thing against Asians, but it just made the stay worse than I was expecting it.  They’ve asked all other guests around us.  All other staffs were helpful, both front desk and housekeeping.  In my opinion, this is not yet a 3-star hotel.  Not sure the hotel would improve themselves before I would revisit again.  That aside, rooms are cozy, but 4-star hotel never provided any complimentary lotions or other small necessities.  I’m not asking for free items, but attention to details is what makes hotels great.  Unfortunately this place doesn’t really live up to their reputation and so called 5-star reviews.
