One of the very most convivial and talented Chefs that I have been graced to know in my 53 years serving the hospitality industry, Florian emanates true passion and joy in expressing his culinary artistry.

The dining room adorned with Swiss Alpine elegance featuring bronze cowbells of different sizes hanging from the al fresco ceiling, one can only wonder about the immense size of the bull carrying a 10 kilo clanger.

Chef Florian specializes in sourcing handpicked local meats and vegetables from his world class Swiss ranchers and farmers.

Amongst the many chefs that my wife Christine and I have known around the globe, he is the best demonstrated example of serving "farm to fork."

Chef Florian's salad dressings are unparalleled in their ethereal heavenly lightness, and his hearty beef , pork and lamb dishes are highlighted by his velvety fusion sauces.

Constantly whipping up surprises such as a spongy baked pretzel accompaniment, Christine and I always anticipate the adventure of enjoying Chef Florian's Haute Cuisine.

His expert serving staff carry out their duties affably with an always "my pleasure" attitude.

Wow, das Essen und der gesamte Abend im Muntanella Arosa verliefen aussergewöhnlich….es hat sich in die Windungen gebrannt. Unser Abend im Muntanella war sehr gemütlich und geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight.
Wir fanden eine kreative, alpine Küche mit ausschließlich schweizer Produkten vor, von denen die meisten sogar aus direkter Nähe kommen.
Der Küchenchef, Herr Mainzger, brachte Brot und Butter persönlich zum Tisch. Die Teller waren mit viel Bedacht und Liebe zum Detail angerichtet und boten ein kulinarisches Erlebnis.
Mein persönlicher Favorit war die Arvensuppe vom Abendmenü und die Rinderschulter von den Klassikern.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Our evening at Muntanella was very cozy and a real highlight in terms of taste.
We found creative, alpine cuisine with exclusively Swiss products, most of which come from nearby.
The chef, Mr. Mainzger, personally brought bread and butter to the table. The plates were prepared with great care and attention to detail and offered a culinary experience.
My personal favorite was the pine soup from the evening menu and the beef shoulder from the classics.

Vor dem Restaurant Muntanella hat es eine wunderschöne Lounge mit offenem Kamin, eine stimmige Bar mit grosser Auswahl und reichlich freundlichem Personal, was der Einstieg zum wunderbaren Essen in elegantem schönen Rahmen darstellte. Die Ambiente ist schön, gutes Licht, Tische nicht zu nahe nebeneinander. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Schön gekleidet. Essen kommt in guten Abständen. Gäste werden wahrgenommen. Top Qualität der Speisen, die einem Restaurant auf diesem "Niveau" entspricht. Blick nach draussen durch grosse Fenster direkt auf hohe Schneeberge geben eine schön winterlich romantische Atmosphäre.
