Very interesting experience kind of dining. The plum dessert and John Dory fish dish are the best. Scallop served here is huge as well.

Had to come back after the first time where I had the best langoustine ever with the previous chef. Nice flavours, light and creative. Loved the snacks especially the duck liver parfait!

I really liked the staged experience, first course at the bar, second course in the kitchen and then moving on to the table. Service is paced extremely well and I liked how the wine pairing featured some unconventional tastes.

As far as food goes, the highlights were definitely the many seafood dishes and combination of flavours used.

This was truly a 5 star experience from start to finish. My two pieces of constructive feedback would be to 1) feature a small gift to take home together with the night's menu (the bread that accompanied the fish course would be excellent), and 2) to refrain from charging 15% service (and remain at the 12.5% level) - while I understand that times are hard for business, I would much rather pay a higher price for the menu upfront than be negatively surprised at the end of a fantastic night.

It has a Michelin star for good reason. All of the reviews praising it are fair. The food is special, showing finesse and a deep love of cooking. A favorite was the “salad” served downstairs. The treatments of fish are also especially adept. The moving courses are a signature that helps break up the long meal. The dining room is understated yes somehow elegant and warm. It’s pricey and a good value. Ask to tour the Blue Mountain School at some point, maybe during the day before you visit—it’s separate from Cycene.

The amount of work and attention to detail that goes into the execution of each dish is astounding.

I loved the experience of moving through the restaurant with meal; starting at the bar for some snacks, then into the kitchen for a bite with the chefs then finally relaxing in the dining room for the rest of the meal.

Service was amazing with that same attention to detail making you feel welcome.
