I live in Switzerland and Papa Ls is one of the places I have been wanting to visit.  The location near Piccadilly Circus was brilliant, the food and Cocktails were really good.  We had the goats cheese, sweet potato croquettes and king prawns for starters.   Main we had the beef ribs and lamb cutlets with cassava fries and honey glazed parsnips.  We were too full for dessert.
My only 2 improvement areas, we sat downstairs and the aesthetic didn’t seem to match the food. Giving the walls a lighter colour of paint and table clothes, could enhance the vibe.
The staff were really nice and friendly but maybe too enthusiastic. We were still eating our main and they asked if we wanted coffee or dessert already, and offered to bring the bill before we asked, which felt like we were being rushed out, we had to check the closing time to make sure.  The restaurant was not busy on a Wednesday evening so that was a faux pas, because if we sat long enough we may have changed our minds and had a dessert or ordered more cocktail, which were lovely.
Overall, really enjoyable evening, food was really yummy,  good background music, so I would visit again.

Papa L's Kitchen had been advertised on social media, and I made a note to visit one day. Today happened to be that day.

I walked in with no expectations. The waitress was very polite and attentive, providing superb recommendations. We started with the scallops and king prawns. Each bite was bursting with flavors and perfectly seasoned. This made us optimistic about the mains.

For the mains, we had the steak and lamb cutlets. Once again, every bite showcased the expert seasoning and delicious preparation.

We couldn’t resist trying dessert to see if they could make it a hat trick with the flavors. We ordered the rum cake and chocolate cake, and they were absolutely scrumptious. The food was as comforting as my mother's cooking yet as refined as any fine dining experience.

I rarely give restaurants five stars, but I had to make an exception here. Don’t walk there... RUN there. The food is that good! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the prawns for starters and lamb and salmon for the main. Only thing is we were sat right next to the entrance and as they don’t have double doors the draft when the doors were opened add us feel very cold.

African fusion food.. the quality of what was served was ok/good but just not enough of it. For the price, the fact that there was no sides unless ordered separately it was just NOT WORTH IT.. 3 scallops gbp17,  lamb 3pcs gbp28, beef short rib gbp28 and Salmon gbp25. Service was friendly but just not value this this day and age..☹️

Atmosphere, ambience and location are fantastic. We came for the new opening menu and were pleased to have complimentary cocktails. Service was great, and the servers were extremely kind and helpful. Our only issue was the wait to get our mains, it took quite some time. We got the fried okra to start which was crunchy yet soft- so good. We then got the lamb cutlets and salmon for mains with rice and cassava fries. Everything was fantastic and the flavours were just sublime. Our total bill was around £60 with the offer which is reasonable. Definitely hope to come back
