Noe and Fabian are the BEST and most attentive servers! First day in Tulum and we are ready to come back to Vagalume every day! Top tier, well worth the price. The ceviche is amazing, even the quesadilla was top tier.

A great beach club vibe with average food offerings.  At a price tag of $350 usd minimum spend pp we had enough space in a large booth with ample food and bottles.  Bottle service drinks are presented much nicer than other venues.  Several DJs throughout the day.  Arrive before sunset and stay till dark.  We missed our dinner resos because we didn’t want to leave.  Sheesha was average at $200usd per head. Great staff, clean bathrooms and good looking crowd.  General entry fee is $193usd and applies to food/drinks. Food however taste bland so stick to liquids ;)

Went to Vagalume on my first day visiting Tulum and it did know disappoint. We ordered the aguachile and ceviche and cocktails and everything was delicious, so worth the price, probably the best ceviche I’ve ever tried. The cocktails were delicious as well. Prices were not bad considering the location and quality of food. Service was fantastic as well!

As first-time visitors to Tulum, we were already looking forward to the party that was to take place at the famous Vagalume Beach Club on Saturday yesterday (Jan 25).

We got the entry tickets via a website that promote parties in Tulum.

When we got there, they told us several times that the entry ticket was only for the party but that if we want a sunbed, we have have to book it separately. At least that makes sense at first. When we arrived at the party, there were maybe 10 people. And of the 100 sunbeds, maybe 5 were occupied. One of the service staff approached us again and explained that we need a sunbed and that we will have a minimum spend. That is also logical. But we only came for the party and just wanted to have a drink and see how the event and the day goes. As it was also a cold, windy and gray day on the beach.

We were then told again that we need a sun bed and have to pay the minimum spend. I explained again that we would just like a drink first to see how everything developed. In the end, we were allowed to go to the bar and order a drink. 🙏👏🙌 When I asked if we could sit down somewhere with the drink, we were told: No, that's only possible if we either take a sun bed and pay the minimum spend or if we want a table, pay the minimum spend for the table.

Ok, we thought: how much would it cost if we could sit down for a drink? About USD 2,000.00 was the answer. At this point I would like to emphasize that every couch and every table in Vagalume was empty at this time 😅 I really wonder why?! 🙄🤭 So the only option we had to have a drink in a completely empty beach club was to stand. This is more than incomprehensible, outrageous and incredibly ridiculous. Thank you Vagalume, but you won't get good guests like this!
