Thoroughly impressed! Food, service and ambiance were great. I was expecting fairly small portions relative to price given the 'elevated, modern take on traditional cuisine' restaurant genre, but the portions were quite generous and filling. Each dish was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong with the sliced pork jowl, bay scallop pancake and zanbuton.

The Uni Bowl is a must-try—most upscale Asian restaurants offer uni, but Danbi elevates it with Korean marinated raw shrimp, making this dish truly exceptional. The steak is another highlight, perfectly marinated with just the right balance of soy sauce and sweetness, and cooked to a juicy, tender medium-well.

Came here a few weeks ago for their Dine LA and really enjoyed the meal overall. The menu was a mix of classic Korean dishes elevated in a way that made them stand out in a good way. We really enjoyed the Scallop Pancake and Zabuton (charcoal cooked wagyu) was super delicious and great to share with another person. The service was friendly and the ambiance was intimate too. Excited to come back here to check out more of their offerings!

DIFFICULT to find if Chapman plaza is filled. There's limited paid street parking on 6th street and/or a paid parking lot near H-Mart.

Exceptional service from the entire staff from start to finish. Observing their interactions amongst themselves while seated near the bar. I admired how respectfully they all handled one another tasks and asks.

Honey butter chips - Made in house, it was okay, a little soggy but probably would not be ordering again.

Mushroom bibimbap - Filled with veggies and the option to add in the amount of gochujang spice you want. A little more sesame oil but overall solid and not too overwhelming.

Scallop pancake was amazing! Loved the little scallops at the top and was surprised that it was drench in oil like other places.

Definitely getting drinks next time, I kept seeing everyone order the Love U So Matcha and Kimchi Mule
