Went there for lunch . No problem for sitting or atmosphere . Clean and warm small place . Note the reason to be here is food and we ordered
Butter garlic cilantro Naan (3/5), paneer butter masala (2.5/5) chicken biriyani(0.5/5). Just coz they served us food .5 was for that . Never had capsicum, spring onion in biriyani . No flavour and no spice

Great service and tasty food. We really enjoyed the Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. The Garlic Naan and Paneer Kulcha were fantastic. The plain basmati rice had a lovely fragrance of cardamom. The Mango Lassi was light with just the slightest amount of sweetness, which was perfect. We were also given a complementary salad. All was reasonably priced and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. We will definitely return.
Edit: Did return for a lunchtime masala dosa and mango lassi. Really enjoyed both. One of the best masala dosas I've had in a long time and I've had a lot of dosas in my life. The samba and chutneys were excellent too.

There Dumplings are the best ever that blend of spices and sauce, as well as the indian dishes were delicious too. This will be my regular go place now on in SF.

Having been to most decent Indian joints in SF, this little known place has easily exceeded my expectations. I'm specifically particular about my dal makhni, and this place blows the competition out of the park. Honestly I'm confused why there aren't more people raving about this restaurant. I'd rank this only behind Rooh (which is comparatively pretty upscale and expensive)

We ordered the chicken tikka, achari paneer tikka, chicken biryani, dal makhni, kadhai paneer. All of these were excellent, with the biryani and dal being stellar. I've got to come back and try their other dishes.
