The smell approaching Bomb Biscuits was wonderful and made me think of waking up to warm biscuits cooked by Grandma on a chilling winter morning.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful regardless of the busy nature of the morning.

Ordered a fully loaded fried chicken biscuit, a regular fried chicken biscuit and a side of hash brown casserole. 9.5/10

Flaky, warm, and moist is the best way to describe the biscuits! Absolutely perfect! The fried chicken, eggs and cheese were delicious. The fried chicken was wonderfully seasoned and very juicy. Even the eggs were seasoned. Nothing was bland tasting or under seasoned. The hash brown casserole was pretty good as well, with the addition of the onions, the flavor was pretty dang perfect.

I will definitely be back to dine in next time. I highly recommend anyone who is wanting an elevated and delicious breakfast/brunch to give them a try!

After years of hearing about Bomb Biscuit, I finally visited the tiny eatery in Old Fourth Ward to sample the biscuits that Food & Wine Magazine deems the best in the South and that have earned Erika Council's restaurant a Michelin Bib Gourmand designation.

Atlanta Brunch spots are busy on the weekend. And Bomb Biscuit is no exception. If you want to eat in the dining area, which is reminiscent of a southern grandmother's kitchen on a Sunday after church, reservations are strongly advised. Since online ordering was temporarily disabled, I decided to pick up on a Saturday late in the morning, which entailed standing and waiting in the carry-out section.

The 50-minute transaction was well worth it. My husband and I ordered a Glori-Fried Chicken Biscuit with egg and a Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit. The golden brown-fried, buttermilk-brined chicken thigh with a honey butter drizzle is delicious by itself. And then you add the towering, flaky, tender, buttery biscuit and bread-and-butter pickles. We also liked the heat of the homemade hot honey sauce.

Unfortunately, before I could make my order, the counter sold out of the cinnamon rolls. That only means that I must return to sample them and other delights, such as the chocolate chip biscuits, the Big Country Ham Biscuit, and the Classic (bacon, egg, and cheese).

If you’re in Atlanta, Bomb Biscuits is an absolute must-visit! This spot specializes in fried chicken biscuits, and they truly live up to their name. I had “The Classic” with egg, cheese, and bacon, paired with their delicious hash brown casserole—and honestly, I would come back to Atlanta just for this combo! We also tried the breakfast potatoes and finished with their cinnamon roll, which was absolute perfection—a sweet end to an amazing meal.

The service was fantastic too. Special shout-out to Victoria, who was super helpful and patient in guiding us through the menu. Chef Erika was also there and was so kind and friendly, making the experience even more special. If you’re in Atlanta, don’t miss Bomb Biscuits! They’re open Wednesday to Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM, and I promise, you won’t regret it!

I found the biscuits to be okay. They were fluffy without much taste. Everything you add to the biscuit is an add on. Our breakfast came to $47 and we added a tip and with  this small meal and one orange juice and I had water. I just wasn’t a fan of the small crowded place and the food. However, our waitress was really sweet and efficient.
