An incredibly classy spot for a drink and some company. Love the look and feel of the place and the hallway at the bottom with a photo booth is just incredible.  Loved my time here. Drinks were great, food was delicious and the vibe was on point!

My friend and I went here for happy hour and it was a blast from the great drinks and food but also a cute tavern vibe. I got espresso martini and love it. We also tried the sliders, burger and fried chicken, which are good. The mussels stood out with plump bites and addictive butter garlic sauce, which they gave you some bread to dip in. Staffs were kind and accommodating, offering coat check for my bags. Overall, we enjoyed the happy here very much!

Don't let the dim interior deter you! Styled with vintage and ornate decorations with plenty of wood accents, the Gilt Bar gives off glamour meets old school vibes. If you ever get the chance to enjoy a meal in the library, you won't regret it. Reservations are released every Wednesday (?) or you could walk in and hope you get seated at the bar down in the library. It is quite dim, so if you're a visual eater, this might not be your cup of tea. The drinks were all on point and delicious. The brussel sprouts were to die for! Crisp outer layer, yet soft on the inside. The butter puck on the steak made the steak all the more delicious. The portions are large enough to share, but everything was so delicious everyone scarfed down their food.

Came in on a cold Thursday night. Didn’t make a reservation because they charge you per person and it doesn’t count as a deposit. They wouldn’t tell me a wait time but told me I was #4 in line and we waited 50 minutes, if I was told at the start I wouldn’t have waited this long. They already weren’t off to a great start, but we ended up getting the table right next to the door with the breeze and no back rest. To top it off the server was never attentive to our table. Burrata was plain, burger was overpriced. Mussels felt like you were eating air.

But moving on to the highlights. The atmosphere was amazing 10/10 for that. Espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had, top 3 in the city. Burger was juicy, I just don’t think it’s worth the price for the area it’s in, it’s almost double the au chevaul price.

Food was ok, service was very bad. For that reason I don’t recommend coming here other than just for a drink at the bar, if a spot is available.

Made birthday reservations at the Library. The space itself is wonderful and i loved the photo booth they had. Our servers were also friendly. I had the truffle pasta and it was good although a huge portion size. Only downside is that I wish they did something for people celebrating a birthday.
