We were looking for a place opened on a holiday and we came across Superkhana! I really enjoy finding places that offer creative dishes and we were in for a treat! The food was awesome, interesting twists on familiar dishes with new mixes and inventions. The service was really friendly and down to earth. They explained their menu in a way that made us all comfortable to ask questions and feel confident in knowing what to order. Since we were all sharing our order, they thoughtfully served us each dish sequentially as different courses and that worked out really well. We were intrigued to try out their ice cream in the dessert menu cuz we all love cardamom and they gave us a complimentary addition. Thank you for a wonderful evening and we look forward to returning!

If you like to try innovative twist to Indian cuisine, then this is definitely for you. If you are tired of sane red curry at every Indian restaurant in Midwest, then surely you must visit. Very nice, cozy and comfy ambiance. You get a warm welcome and very nice servers. We loved the smoked eggplant Bao. The rest of the food had nuanced tastes and felt very fresh. But nothing was out of this world mind blowing that we tried. Strongly recommend for innovation and freshness.

Seasonal vegetables get the royal treatment here so be sure to add some fresh options to your mix of dishes. If you’re a fan of Indian food you’ll love the flavors, but the textures will surprise and delight you. Even intrepid dining companions went back for seconds on each dish. We almost didn’t get these photos because the food was disappearing so quickly. Congratulations to the entire team!

A unique experience in Chicago.    Did bit. Know what to expect b we walked in at 5, so the place was just opening and we were the first folks there.

Ordered a couple of drinks ( which were great), the menu was fantastic as well.   The best part was the chutneys.     I was very intrigued and surprised as to how tasty was their achari sauce...I actually took a bottle home.

The other thing was their naan.   Honestly it was a pizza with out sauce and Amul cheese .  If you like cheese and u like Amuo, you are going to love it.

Very friendly staff and owner.  ..A must visit.

Indian food with a contemporary twist, great service and a fun vibe is what you get at Superkhana. You're greeted with loud lights, colors and pop music as you walk into the relaxed dining room. The service staff is warm, lively and offers decent recommendations. The chana chaat was great, a beautiful melange of flavors and textures. The achari pork pao, a korean bao version of a kheema pav, worked amazingly. The butter chicken calzone, again exactly as described works very well.Had the bread been a little softer, this would've made a perfect naan-butter chicken bite. Missed opportunity. The vindaloo, a greater missed opportunity. The pork bely was perfectly cooked but just missed flavor punch one would expect with a vindaloo. We ended with a great cup of chai and what could've been a fantastic chai themed tres leches. The cake wasn't as soaked in the chai flavor as I'd have liked and tasted more of the chocolate. It tasted generically good but the another missed opportunity in creating something unique.

I enjoyed the whole experience and I might even go back if I didn't have to plan in advance. Although, this is one of those places that make you feel like they're a few changes from being your favorite place to eat
