Really enjoyed our dinner here. Came for my birthday with my husband and there was a note on the table when we arrived. The vibe here is fantastic and the food was wonderful. There are two tasting options we decided to select four ingredients vs the 12 course tasting menu and it was delicious.  My husband and I had to select the same 4 , which was a discussion, but we landed in a delicious place :). My only feedback is that because the chefs are the ones to talk about each course and they rotate, there was a bit of inconsistency on the instruction / description. Everyone was wonderful but one guy made it a bit confusing

Truly a lovely experience. The food is out there and creative, so I wasn’t expecting to like every dish, but I truly ate everything with joy. Wine matched perfectly and if there was an alcohol/food that wasn’t our jam, they switched it out when they could. Didn’t happen often, especially as I want to try everything before making a “not for me” decision, but they were extremely kind to do so.

Service was also stellar - each chef/server was a endless book of knowledge and loved the food they made & served.  They answered all my stupid questions and it made the food more approachable/exciting. Each ingredient was sourced with care and prepared with deep consideration to flavor & exploration. Truly incredible.

At the outset, we came to ILIS after looking forward for months to dine here and with expectations of a world-class dining experience and impeccable food. Unfortunately, while the food was good, it wasn’t great and didn’t live up to the $325 per person tasting menu price tag. Many dishes lacked wow factor and punch, though inventive and visually stunning. Service, on the whole, was world-class, with one exception that was quickly remedied - my wife’s scallop dish was grainy, gritty and the crunch of sand destroyed the delicate texture I enjoyed - one server explained that “this happens” and that there was nothing they could do about it. Our main server was aghast at the initial explanation and immediately took steps to try to make it right, while guaranteeing that the kitchen would never deem this acceptable. The space is immaculate and beautiful, airy and bright, and was totally unexpected before stepping in from the street.

Amazing restaurant. Always innovating, beautiful decoration. I really enjoy the open kitchen, it’s like watching a show. It’s high-end but it’s fun, doesn’t feel pretentious. Definitely worth it.

Went for our 1 year anniversary. My boyfriend had been dreaming about trying this place since we missed out on Noma when it was still open. For me, it’s hard to beat Fyn in South Africa. If you’re looking for one of the most memorable meals of your life, go there.

The service here was ok. For $800+ it would’ve been nice if the staff acted more interested and added to the experience. But they were more on the shy and quiet side albeit very nice and professional nonetheless.

The organized chaos in the kitchen was a vibe. Love that you barely noticed them but you know they’re hustling in there. The beginning plates were all very normal, nothing spectacular about the flavors.

My gazpacho straw didn’t work 🤷🏽‍♀️ and the grilled fish was totally meh. The sashimi side was delightful though but it was almost forgotten as we overheard someone mention it and made sure to ask our waiter if we were supposed to get it as well. By dish 6 it started getting more exciting. Really tasty and fun plates towards the end.

I read people talking about a la carte and maybe that would’ve been the way to go for a lot less $. Sometimes it’s worth it, other times it’s really not.

Jag var orolig tills jag såg ett par videor. om denna plats varav en inkluderade “Bon appetit”. Presentationen och smakerna är värda priset för inträde ensam. Drycker presenterade i äkta paprika. Bläckfiskrättens tentakler är gjorda på lök & det står på en kort lista över mina bästa rätter för året som jag ätit. Så är svamprätten, helt enkelt spektakulär! Dessa är inte superkomplicerade ingredienser men deras utförande är oerhört upphöjt. Service i otroligt. För mitt klaustrofobiska folk är utrymmet enormt & så är utrymmet mellan borden. Jag bokade helt galet både bar & fältprovning på en kväll & jag ångrar det inte. Hur galet det än låter har vetegräsdesserten stigit till den bästa desserten i mitt liv. Hällen av dryckerna är långt ifrån minimal. Platsen är också interaktiv eftersom du använder redskap som ostronskal och snigelfötter. Jag kan fortsätta & på men bara komma hit asap
