I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. The historic charm of the hotel is unmatched, and the Carousel Bar was a unique and unforgettable experience. My room was beautifully decorated, clean, and very comfortable, with a great view of the city. The location in the French Quarter made it so easy to explore everything New Orleans has to offer. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

There is a reason this hotel is the largest and oldest independently operated hotel in New Orleans - the level of service and hospitality is unmatched. We hosted a 4-day corporate retreat at the Monteleone, and I can confidently say that everyone and everything exceeded our expectations. Cayla and Don on the sales and private event teams were a joy to work with and so incredibly helpful. From the service at the Carousel Bar, to the team assisting with our meeting in Orleans D, and the housekeeping staff who organized my toiletries for me everyday – nothing was missed. Anyone and everyone that is headed to New Orleans, whether it is for business or pleasure should spend at least one night here. Thank you Hotel Monteleone!

My husband and I ended up at the Monteleone Hotel by chance on our first trip to New Orleans. We were booked at the Bienville which is their sister hotel, but we were relocated to the Monteleone due to preparations for Super Bowl. I have to say it was the best thing that could have happened. The moment you walk in to this hotel, you are treated like royalty to say the least. The property is immaculate, the service is phenomenal, and the room we stayed in exceeded our expectations! I have to take a moment to recognize certain staff members that our experience memorable.
Beginning with Ms. Kathy our server at the Criollo restaurant. She is the sweetest, authentic, and humble human being. We give her 10++++ stars for her amazing service. Gregory the young man that booked our tours was beyond accommodating towards our requests. Charles at the front desk and the manager that attended us while checking in really went above and beyond to help us get settled on our first night. We appreciate you all!

The hotel is located within walking distance to so much. I am so glad that we picked to stay here! The carousel bar is cool to check out, but there are so many better places to do outside of the hotel. We went in December and the decorations were absolutely beautiful. The staff was more than accommodating to our whole party. We would absolutely stay here again!

The room and location were fine, it's what you'd expect from a hotel like this which is pretty decent.

What was not decent however was the service, and I'm not one to  complain about service typically. However, room service either took or threw out one of our bags that had all of our souvenirs and physical items from our trip. We tried to reach out to the front desk about it, but as soon as we left all communication ceased. I've sent multiple emails and calls, but nothing was ever returned and nothing was ever done about the fact they threw away all the memorabilia from our vacation.

The fact they just completely ignore us after doing us wrong makes me want to never recommend this hotel to anyone.
