The entire dining experience from start to finish was a delight! Not only was the waitstaff knowledgeable and attentive, but the food was delicious! I can't wait to come back! As an avid fan of Tom Colicchio, and having been to Craft in the past, I must say the menu is superb. I highly recommend the Duck, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the roasted octopus appetizer and the banana cream donuts with white chocolate foam and concord grape sorbet. Aside from the presentation, taste and ambiance, I was also impressed with the surprisingly adequate portions. Most upper scale restaurants leave you with lots to be desired, but Colicchio and Sons knows that true Foodies like to eat! Perfect for an elegant date or when the parents are in town visiting and you want some "WOW" factor!

This was the best fine dinning meal I have had in NY. I started with two drinks at the bar. They were unique, expertly made, and delicious. I then moved to the hearth to have my dinner. I had the pea soup and the escargot. Again, both were amazing. I ended the night with a surprise dessert from the waiter, toasted marshmallow ice cream. The ice cream is the best I have ever had. It is not on the menu, so be nice to your waiter and they might get it for you. The service was 5 stars from the host to the waiters. It was also very cool to watch the chefs at work as I ate at the hearth. If you got the coin, this is one of the best places to go in NY.

Our dining experience was so amazing!! The food was delicious, and I mean all of it was so good! The atmosphere, the architecture, the staff, the food...hands down one the very best I've ever experienced. Our server was the best, make sure you ask for Sara...she is attentive and knows how to make you feel welcome. We will definitely be back!!

A Wonderful Birthday Celebration.  Wine wall was phenomenal!  The menu that was brought to our table said Happy Birthday with my name.  Fantastic! We had the Four Course Menu with Wine Pairings.  The service was impeccable, it was an Orchestra!  The food was Heavenly, a plethora of amazing flavors and surprises.  Wait staff very attentive, and prompt. Colicchio & Sons was a place that I cannot wait to return to.

I recently went to NYC for a girls' weekend and our dinner at Colicchio and Sons was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.  Not only was the food delicious, but the service and personal touches made this a very memorable experience.  The main dining room of the restaurant has great ambiance - it's comfortable, personal, and completely unpretentious.

We all enjoyed every bit of our meal, from the assortment of canapes to our main courses to the beautiful desserts.  I had the roasted octopus with caramelized endives as well as the duck with pickled cabbage and Japanese knotwood - both of which were cooked to perfection.  For dessert, I had the warm chocolate tart and words cannot describe how delicious it was!

Our server was friendly and helpful and even brought us back to the kitchen so we could personally thank the chef and pastry chef for our wonderful meal as well as get a peek at the kitchen.  To top it off, we were each sent home with chocolate chip banana muffins for breakfast the next day (which were also very yummy!).  We'll be back!
