I had been here pre-kids (13+ years ago) and we loved it then and we still love it now. Such a lovely atmosphere and the food is spot on. I love when I can find a place that remains consistent and is still great. Can’t wait to come back again on our next visit.

Service was great. I was thinking of something and she brought it right to me without having to say it out loud! Now that’s service!!

If you have larger parties, I would recommend you make a reservation to avoid a wait. Most tables are smaller tops.

The trout was good, so was the scallops. As for the steak, it came a bit more done than expected, as it would be good if the meat cab also come with some salad and not just fries. It helps to balance off the greasiness of the meat and garlic butter. Service was great as well.

Had a chance to eat at Pastis while the Dishoom pop-up was going on. It was an absolute delicious experience. We went for the breakfast and was amazed at how good the plates were (particularly the chai) and also the service by the Pastis team was great. Highly recommend the restaurant (and the pop up if you see this in the next few days). I hope this type of experience happens again in the future

Love it where!’ It’s become one of our go-to places every time we’re in NYC! We went twice during our 2 night stay because it is that good. Our waiter was so nice and the food was amazing.  And been there again in January 2024 and the food was waaaay too salty, but this time, everything was great. My only criticism is that new tuna carpaccio… not great. My husband and I shared it as an appetizer and we both weren’t fans of it. It’s as if someone had made ground tuna and spread it on a plate. Couldn’t pick up a single slice without it disintegrating. But other than that, we LOVED our food and went back for breakfast 😂 will definitely be going back!!

The most impressive part of the experience is the hostess stand - multiple monitors and hostess, figuring out seating availability like high frequency traders. Hats off.

We didn’t have a reservation for the busy brunch time. The hostesses magically found an outdoor table for us. Perfect weather for some bubbles, steak tartare and modern French fares on the side walk for a Sunday, people watching and post Whitney Biennial visit.

Pastis är en amerikansk restaurang i stil med en Franska bistro. Det var mycket upptagen när vi besökte för lunch som är ett vittnesbörd om den Service som tillhandahålls. Vi njöt av hummerrisotto som var något al dente. Nötköttet bourguignon var bra förutom att bitarna av nötkött på ytan hade torkat något, vilket något förringade lockelsen av rätten. Platsen var packad, på vad som annars var en lugn natt i Meatpacking distriktet.

Fortfarande en go - att placera men har förlorat sin glans lite grann. Jag åt brunch. Bacon lite blöt. Mat ok. Många bättre ställen.

Hade en UNDERBAR söndagsbrunch här med vår dotter. Vi hade reservationer för middagstid, och var snabbt sittande vid ankomsten. Var och en av oss drack. Våra förrätter: ägg, potatis, bacon / korv, rostat bröd, kärnmjölk pannkakor med en sida av bacon och en choklad croissant (de tog in fel bageri sortiment - försökte berätta för den person som levererar det men han lämnade för snabbt). Service och mat enastående!

Pastis är en chic, avslappnad Franska bistro. IT serverar den klassiska Franska bistron. Menyalternativ som Franska omelett med sallad och pommes frites. Servicen är professionell. Det här stället är en del av Steven Starrs matimperium. Original Pastis koncept är från Keith McNally, den brittiska förvandlade New Yorker restaurangägare. Härligt val om i området.

Jag ska hålla detta enkelt. Jag recenserar alltid om det är bra eller dåligt, i det här fallet... Bra kvalitet på frukosten, läget underbart, byggnaden vacker, personalen utmärkt.

Vi har haft en underbar lunch med vår familj komplimangerad av vår server, Jason, som var utmärkt. Vi började med cocktails, kokta räkor och escargot. Vi beställde allt från filet, lax, spaghetti, kyckling och skaldjur till dessert och kaffe. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera denna enastående restaurang!

Vi firade nyligen vårt barnbarns födelsedag med en lunch på Pastis. Hon hade aldrig varit där & älskade det. 

Bland oss 3 njöt vi av den franska löksoppan, purjolöksvinägrett, smashburgare och biffsmörgåsen - allt utmärkt. Atmosfären var animerad och livlig - vår omtänksamma server såg till att ta med dessert med ett ljus så att vi alla kunde sjunga. 

Allt som allt var det en underbar upplevelse för oss alla.

Colin, vår servitör, är så proffsig att vi bara åker tillbaka när han är i tjänst! Så bra. Mat var expert förberedd och presenterades, även om kaffet inte var varmt - mindre irritation som skulle ha åtgärdats omedelbart om vi frågade. Gör en bokning eftersom de fyller upp.

En fantastisk upplevelse från början till slut. Vi satt i baren, med två fantastiska bartenders, som blandade mycket bättre än vanliga drinkar. Maten var utmärkt: gröna bönor och tonfisk, stekta kronärtskockor, allt var bra. Atmosfären var kul (lite högt, men det går med territoriet) . Vi ville inte åka härifrån. Inte en plats för tyst konversation, men bra scen, människor tittar, mat, cocktails och service - - - gå.

Vi märkte denna eleganta restaurang när du utforskar Chelsea marknaden och gjorde en reservation för att komma tillbaka för middag. 

Som andra har noterat, är denna restaurang EXTREMT högt och inte främjar en intim middag. Väggarna är genomgående kaklade/spegelvända så ljudet verkligen studsar. 

Men totalt sett hade vi en bra måltid här. Min biff tartar var dock något underkryddad och lite gloppy. 

Observera att, som överallt i New York, portionsstorlekar är extremt stora och de flesta rätter kan lätt delas mellan två matgäster.

Min man och jag njöt av en fantastisk middag på Pastis. Vi satt utanför och underhölls som vi var perfekt beläget för stora människor tittar. Våra aptitretare av escargots och krispig kronärtskocka var fenomenala och påminde mycket om måltider i Paris. En otrolig sida av blomkål åtföljde våra måltider av forell mandel och spaghetti bolognese som alla var utmärkta! Våra taxibilar var vår dessert eftersom vi var för mätta för någon mer mat. Denna restaurang förtjänar högt beröm!

När vår NYC mamma - dotter äventyr tog oss till Meatpacking District för ett museibesök, bestämde vi oss för att njuta av en sen lunch / tidig middag på Pastis. Jag hade ätit på Pastis för mer än ett decennium sedan, men var inte säker på vad jag skulle förvänta mig eftersom de hade flyttat platser. Jag hade inget att frukta! Pastis NYC är lika fantastisk som jag mindes. Atmosfären transporterar dig från det ögonblick du anländer (det är svårt att tro att det inte är originalet! ). Maten är utsökt och tröstande, och servicen är exceptionell. I vårt fall var Brock vår utmärkta, jordnära och vänliga server. Han gav oss stora rekommendationer och behagligt paced vår måltid. Sammantaget såg han till att vi hade en otrolig matupplevelse. Tack Pastis (och Brock! ) för att ni ger oss ett genuint och SMAKANDE NYC-minne!

Vi älskar att äta brunch här. Maten är fantastisk. Från bakverk till perfekt tillagad omelett. Och servicen är alltid snabb och vänlig. Autentisk fransk bistro.
