Spot on - we went there for a holiday lunch and tried both a Latke egg special and the chicken shawarma. The flavors were well balanced and the staff was very knowledgeable with my girlfriend’s food allergies. They have good gluten free options for appetizers, entrees and desserts. The fresh mint tea was very refreshing and paired well with the flavorful dishes.

Went on a Tuesday evening and found a table. However it was full by the time we were leaving around 7:30 PM. Highly recommend reserving a table. Everything we ordered was excellent, will definitely go back for Chicken Shawarma

I needed a brunch spot in West Village but wanted something more flavorful than the dime a dozen Italian/American egg spots that litter the hood. Enter Kubeh.

It's all the yums and all the vibes. We shared the delicious Fried Kubeh to start. I got the Norwegian Potato Latkes & Eggs (yeah, I know, eggs....but with spices!), which was a huge plate brimming with all the good stuff the USFDA tells you to eat.

For drinks, the Rimona is a nice antioxidant concoction to get your nutes in, and the Call Your Mother will cure your hangover with more fruity, fizzy ethanol.

We arrived without a reservation and were seated right away. The hostess, servers, and everyone were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere was nice. There was a large party that came in halfway through our meal. They were a bit loud, but that's the nature of eating in NYC. It was nice inside otherwise. The food was mostly very good. I had a salad with my steak that had a horseradish tasting sauce I was not enjoying. Also, some of the food had a bit overpowering spices I was not used to. I will say it is likely authentic. It was just not my thing. My wife had a soup with swiss Chard she really enjoyed. All and all, I would recommend this spot for authentic Middle Eastern food.

So so so good!! Everything was delicious and very authentic. If you’re experimental with alcohol you should definitely try the flight. It has Arak, ouzo and this Persian moonshine. They come with mixers that you can mix on your own.

The burekas, halumi cheese, and kubeh were phenomenal. If you’re in the area, you should definitely check it out.
