I’ll start by saying that I usually never leave reviews . But Oceana deserves all the stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I found this place by accident when I looked for a pre Broadway birthday dinner for my mother in law . I’m so happy I did, because we had the best experience. I booked the table for 6pm on a Saturday on the same day. We were greeted by staff, they asked if we’re seeing any show after, they made sure they take care of us before we needed to head out for a show. All of the staff members were very attentive and kind. Sommelier for wine pairing painted pictures in my head when telling about beautiful regions that made my wine taste even better.
We were intrigued by the menu and wanted to try everything. So we went with 4 course chefs tasting menu. The portions were perfectly sized to be able to taste everything they bring. Every single meal and wine pairing was beyond this world!
Our kids couldn’t care about anything else than pasta and pizza, which they happened to have on their kids menu. It was a nicely prepared food, unlike anywhere else where they don’t put effort into kids meals.
. It was also refreshing to be in a place with a good family sized tables, where it’s not too dark, loud and crowded unlike anywhere in NYC. Perfect for a family dinner to enjoy a dinner conversation with loved ones. I would go back every day if I could , couldn’t recommend more! Thank you!❤️

We booked for 5pm in order to make our Broadway showtime. The maitre d', sommelier and service staff were all very attentive and efficient in getting us seated, served and out the door on time. We tried our seafood fried, raw and roasted. So good.

The food was excellent, but the service was disappointing. The servers were too busy, and we had to wait 40 minutes just to place our order. Even though there were plenty of empty tables in the main area, we were told a reservation was required. So, we had to make a reservation on the spot. If you plan on going on a Saturday night, be sure to reserve in advance.

The hanger steak medium rare is cooked to perfection. The oysters are fresh. The olive oil cake was delicious! Even the complimentary bread is excellent. Had a great time. Service is excellent.

I highly recommend Oceana on 59th. It’s rare that give 5 stars, but I had dinner and tried the four course option that was perfect. Everything was delicious. The portions were good since it was four course. I’d eat here again and I’m curious about the other menu items. It was flavorful, fresh, and light. Yellowtail crudo had a lemon zip with olive oil; lobster scampi linguine (the noodles were perfect and I could have eaten a pound of this); branzino had a crispy skin with a zesty green sauce; and millet feuille that had a citron cream like key lime. $119 plus tip. I had water.

Min man och jag äter på barer. Han är döv på sitt högra öra, och jag är döv på mitt vänstra. Så det fungerar. Vi besökte Oceana i Times Square-området igår kväll där jag tror att alla unga proffs i NYC hade stannat för en drink. Atmosfären var energigivande... högljudd... .men levande. Maten var fantastisk. Men kvällens höjdpunkt var bartendern Miguel, som höll ögonen på oss och fick oss att känna oss välkomna. Vi betalade och lämnade restaurangen och jag hörde mitt namn ropas. Jag hade nöjet att äta här under en affärsresa nyligen och var grundligt imponerad. Maten var fräsch, smakrik och tydligt tillagad med omsorg. Den välkomnande atmosfären och utmärkta servicen gjorde det till en minnesvärd matupplevelse jag gärna skulle återvända till.

Tog några drinkar med mina vänner här förra veckan. Cocktailarna var perfekt blandade, och Chipotle Dynamite Shrimp var helt utsökt — krispig, kryddig och full av smak. Bra Service från personalen också.

Den tre - rätters måltiden var perfekt curerad, med Catskill Chicken som sticker ut - saftig, smakrik och vackert tillagad. Utmärkt Service och en varm atmosfär gjorde det ännu bättre!

Detta var en utsökt måltid, havsmusslorna var läckra filet var enastående och sidorna var utsökta. Yukon Gold potatisen och gnocchin var helt utsökta och ostronen musslor och hummer aptitretare ordet underbart. Kaviaren med helt utsökt och servicen var utmärkt. Vi kommer säkert tillbaka hit

Medan de gärna tar emot 21:00 reservationer, de förväntar sig din middag beställning vid 21:00: 15 PM och att du ska vara borta så snart som möjligt och definitivt inte dröja kvar efter 22:00! Personalen var oförskämd, tungrott, oprofessionell och enbart intresserad av att få oss ut genom dörren. Kvaliteten på maten vill ha underbart, men med tanke på den tonen, vem bryr sig? Som infödd New York-bo varnar jag dig: förvänta dig inte artig service efter 21:00, eller välj en restaurang som är glad att ha dig som kund.
