My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary at Carne Mare, and it was such a great experience. The vibe of the restaurant is classy and welcoming, and the view made it feel even more special. The area around the restaurant is also really nice to walk around before dinner, which added to the night.

We ordered the steak, and it was absolutely delicious—so tender and flavorful. The duck was amazing too, and the portion was huge! Both dishes really hit the mark, and we were so happy with everything we tried.

The only thing we were a little disappointed about was that the roast beef was already sold out. Our dinner was pretty early, around 5:30pm. so it was surprising that it was out of stock that early in the evening. We’ll definitely want to go back to try it next time!

The servers were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had an awesome dinner and felt like we picked the perfect place to celebrate. Carne Mare is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a special night out.

Overall, outstanding, top notch service and atmosphere but the food was meh...
Dishes were seasoned a bit inconsistently; some way too salty and some just right, and some bland.
I know steakhouses have different definitions of 'medium rare' but as a second time visitor ordering the exact same steak cut at the exact same medium rare level, it was disappointing to see the difference. First time visiting, steak was cooked to perfection and this time it was very rare so we had to ask for it to be cooked a bit more.
Pasta and creamed spinach were VERY good. Absolutely delicious.
Overall, lack of consistency (over several visits and in between dishes) was a bit disappointing.

Beautifully located at the heart of financial district by south street seaport … we went to have a birthday dinner at this Carne Mare for the first after reading about it’s raving online and it absolutely DOES NOT disappoint !!

We were started with homemade garlic bread (Must try) and then with some appetizers (spicy crab lettuce cups, wagyu tartar, yellow fin tuna, Caesar salad and roasted Maine sea scallops which was to die for !! Absolutely must try and Cooked to perfection) …

not saying everything else wasn’t good but scallops which was a main course but we had ordered as an appetizer was absolutely spot on and hit all the right spots

This was definitely a good start to our dinner

Our server “Antonio” recommended a whole roast duck which he claimed was the best he ever had and he definitely did not lie …. It was very juicy, aromatic, tender and the sauce was just a cherry on top that makes it so good …. Definitely one of the best duck I ever had … gotta thanks Antonio for that and he was excellent in all his recommendations and services

I would love to keep going on and on about this place but don’t want it to be too long of the reviews …. All the main courses were great as well but just want to write on the one that we really like and will definitely come back for it again whenever we get a chance
