Managed to snag a seat for 1 around 540pm on a Thursday. Loved everything I ordered (oysters, pate, salad). The flavors were strong, unique and delicious and the ambiance and service were both very warm. Would definitely return!

Super cozy restaurant with delicious viet food. We sat at the bar and I loved that I could peer over my shoulder at the kitchen and watch them prepare the food. Plates were small so we got 5 of them for the 2 of us, and they came out one after another which was a nice leisurely pace. Highly recommend the chanterelle toast and the Bo kho

One of my favorite meals I’ve had in a while!! Such a wonderful mix of flavors. Some highlights were the snails in tamarind butter (I could drink that butter—it’s to die for!!), the oysters with green chili, the grilled skate, the curried lamb, and the desserts (we tried them all—so delicious). Had previously gone to Ha’s Dac Biet which was amazing! As is Ha’s Snack Bar, although I would say this menu leans more heavily into fusion/French. That being said, everything is spicy, zingy, and inventive, and helped me imagine new possibilities for viet ingredients and flavors. Some really satisfying lil bites - highlights being carrot salad with rau ram (viet herb I’ve never seen in this kind of application), chicken liver pate and crudo with Meyer lemon nuoc mam (again refreshing and novel). Would recommend highly!

Loved it, I like going in blind and all I knew about Ha’s Dac biet was that it was a pop up for a while and was Vietnamese. It was actually seemed like French bistro with small plates and Vietnamese touches. Had the oysters which came with a light sauce very good, spicy carrot salad was fantastic. The pork belly was delicate and crispy without being too fatty or heavy. The French onion soup with pho spices really worked well. Lastly they had a birthday cake on special that was amazing, hope they keep it on the menu but seemed like it was someone’s bday and they wanted to make a cake. Be prepared to get cozy and take a pic of the menu. Also our waiter who I think was the owner was so nice and went through the whole menu. I want to try the rest.

Jag älskar någon form av vinbar / tapas ställe, och var glad att haffa en res på denna hot spot. Varje rätt var superkreativ och hade sin egen unika snurr på klassikerna. Min favorit var nog sniglarna och det här bakverket vi åt med fisk och rom. Vi hade en bra server och jag älskade att prova olika viner och para ihop det med denna härliga mat. Jag kommer att säga, platsen är mycket tight och packad så du definitivt kommer att få stöta på / har ditt personliga utrymme trångt lite
