The food was decent … the tuna stick rice was actually not very good in my opinion but the crab dip and cheese stuffed cracker were great. The drinks were good as was the hazelenjt cake for dessert but we could tell the restaurant wanted us to leave the entire time because our meal was incredibly rushed (I’m talking ordered and within …8 minutes all of the food we ordered was out with no pacing whatsoever). I understand it’s a popular place but I was having lunch with my mom on a Thursday and tables were there WAY longer than us, some with laptops out working so I didn’t understand this attitude.

I don’t think I’d recommend or go out of my way to return.

Had a lovely dining experience at San Sabino. The food quality was amazing as well as the ambiance and staff. André took care of us and he was wonderful. Will absolutely be back. Highly recommend for a fancier date night.

Unreal experience. San Sabino is one of my favorite restaurants in the city; these folks have the total package. Top notch service and staff attention to detail. We ordered plenty of food and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend that you try to snag a confirmed table on Resy. A+

While the menu was creatively promising, the execution unfortunately fell short. The dishes we ordered featured delicious individual ingredients that, when combined, didn't seem cohesive. For instance, the pepperoni carbonara had excellent pasta but was compromised by the addition of crunchy bits that detracted from its creaminess. The shrimp parmigiana was particularly disappointing—the tomatoes were tasty, but the overall texture of the sauce was confusing, and the shrimp was unfortunately very soggy and mushy. The spicy tuna stood out due to its delicious, almost ceviche-like flavors, even though it also suffered from a similar flavor cohesion problem. On a positive note, the service was exceptional throughout our visit, from the moment we were seated until we left (thanks Tina)!

Overall, considering the price range and difficulty securing a reservation, I wouldn’t recommend this spot especially considering the plethora of nearby delicious Italian spots at a considerably lower price point.

being sister restaurant of Don Angie, and while I have to commend their service for being top-notch, the food unfortunately fell short of expectations. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience, which is always a plus.

However, when it comes to the food, I found it to be quite mediocre considering the price point. The dishes were flavorful but didn't stand out in any remarkable way.

-Octopus Carpaccio is the star of the night, ive never seen the octopus prepared like that.
-Stuffed mussels are also very delicious pairs great with the lemon aioli.
-They are really trying to sell the Cheesy Frittelle, but it's not impressive , the filling are tiny and didnt taste the orange blossom whatsover.
-Lobster Triangoli is the most overrated dish , for $38 comes with four pieces with tiny filling i can't even taste any lobster inside. such a disappointment
-I'm a big fan of crab , but Stuffed Farfalle taste nothing like crab, or if it does , it's overpowered by all other flavors.

For what we paid, I was hoping for a more memorable meal. It seems like there's a lot of hype around San Sabino, but the food didn't quite live up to it. If you're looking for excellent service and are willing to overlook the lackluster cuisine, this might still be worth a visit IF you can get a reservation. Otherwise, you might find better value elsewhere.
