Upon entering the restaurant, it was not what I expected. We walked in, there was no one to greet us and we were just standing around for about 10 minutes before a host came to seat us. They seated us by the door and it was raining so I had to request a change in seating. The waiter took about 20-30 minutes to come take our order. My boyfriend and I wanted drinks before happy hour was finished so we tried to order at the bar but they told us we could not because we had a table so we had to wait for our server. They Still accommodated us with happy hour prices, even though the time I passed due to the long wait. Food was amazing !!! From appetizer to main course. The dessert was extremely sweet couldn’t finish and took extremely long to come as well. When the bill came, I was very shocked to see how expensive everything was even though  I attended during restaurant week.

1st time visiting the roof top during happy hour. On the positive: food was small portions which was great as we ordered several & in the end our stomachs were happy. Dom Pérignon glass & bottle are on special during happy hour. Negative: they don’t have proper glassware for Champagne. They have cheap $1 ones. The server suggested their standard wine glass, which was way better & really enjoyed the Champagne.

I came yesterday to enjoy a solo date, as I have never tried any of the STK locations. Arianna did a fantastic job of providing me with a warm welcome and unforgettable meal. She was extremely detail-oriented and ensured nothing was missed. She provided top-notch recommendations and was made sure I was taken care of. I will be back soon!

Love 💕 Love this place from the entry the beautiful ambience & decor so stylish & sexy suitable for any occasion! The food A1 plus I’m easy to please, love the rooftop views of the city and the atmosphere makes it all flow & My Awesome waiter Marquis of course made my celebration of Lola just perfect like the cherry on the cake, even made the night better by taking my photo! The rooftop at this place is really nice and provides a great atmosphere. However, the service was a bit slow. I ordered the watermelon spicy margarita but didn't enjoy it at all. When I asked for a different drink, I tried the passion fruit, but I found that it wasn't to my taste either. I tend to be picky when it comes to drinks, but based on the reviews, I had high hopes. The appetizers we ordered, the blue iceberg and the burrata, had mixed results. The blue iceberg was fantastic, but the burrata was a bit disappointing as it didn't come with as much sourdough bread as I expected.

After we finished our appetizers, the server kindly noticed that I didn't enjoy the passion fruit drink and offered to replace it. At that point, I played it safe and opted for a glass of wine. However, the wine arrived at the table when we were nearly done with our meal, which was a little disappointing. For the main course, we shared a steak and two sides – the potatoes were delicious, and the brussel sprouts were also very good.

I want to note that the server might have been quite busy, and I know I can be a bit difficult. However, he did his best and was genuinely amazing. I just wished there was a bit more support from the bussers/runners to assist the servers.

Hemskt, jag hade bokat ett takbord. Vi kom i tid och satt inomhus. Jag visade dem damen min bokning för ett utanför bord och fick rakt på sak, det skulle vara en timmes väntan på ett utanför bord även om det är vad jag hade bokat en månad i förväg. Vi gick.

Vilket skämt. Vi är i NYC över 4 juli. Tillbaka i APRIL bokade jag ett takbord för 2 . Bokningen bekräftades via e-post. Dagen innan blev jag ombedd att bekräfta igen, vilket jag gjorde. Vi anlände till STK klockan 8 . 20 pm och visades till ett bord inuti. Jag kontrollerade reservation och det stod en utomhusbokning. Jag tog upp detta med servern som sa till mig att det var en timmes väntan. Jag bad att få tala med chefen som sa, vi satt i "att äta nu" området. Att ha en reservation betyder tydligen ingenting. . . vi blev tillsagda att vänta och timme. Vi valde att åka. Slösa inte bort din tid här, oorganiserad, oförskämd och inte hjälpsam. För en besökare från Storbritannien under den 4 juli en verkligt fruktansvärd upplevelse! !

Jag är ett fan av STK märket och detta var mitt 3: e besök på en av deras många platser runt om i världen. Jag måste erkänna att det här verkligen var underväldigande. 

Bra läge i Meatpacking District. För att komma till takrestaurangen på plan 4 kliver du först in i ”STK Downtown”. Atmosfären här ser ut som vad man kan förvänta sig av en STK. Jag valde taket eftersom tempsen var milda och jag tänkte att det skulle vara trevligt att äta ute. Vi hade en 5 pm reservation och var omedelbart sittande. 

Atmosfären på taket är ganska bra. Det finns en liten lounge omgiven av vinstockar och blommor. Fint för foton. Majoriteten av borden och baren är under tak och även utomhusborden har parasoller. Rent generellt överensstämde inte takets renlighet och atmosfär med STK:s identitet enligt min mening. 

Många andra recensioner talade negativt om tjänsten och nu förstår jag. Vår server var riktigt trevlig och trevlig, men det verkade som om de var underbemannade (bar och servitris personal). Drycker tog lång tid att komma fram och vi kunde inte göra vår beställning förrän dryckerna kom. Det var bara för många tillfällen där vi var tvungna att leta efter vår server och det värsta är att de inte verkade vara upptagen eftersom restaurangen inte var full. Alla våra tomma rätter stannade på bordet tills vi betalade notan. Vi fick städa och stapla disk själva. Beställde en andra omgång drinkar och de glömdes bort som vi var tvungna att påminna servern. Slutligen beställde vi sallad och det verkade också vara glömt. Vi hade ett bord fullt av kokta föremål och vi saknade vad som i huvudsak kunde ha varit den första punkten att komma fram. Jag avbokar varan med vår server, sedan 5 minuter senare kommer salladen. Vi vägrade. 

Vi gick under happy hour och för en NYC happy hour, rekommenderar jag menyn för kvalitet och värde. Drycker var mycket bra. Vi beställde också från den ordinarie menyn. Jag kände inte att någon maträtt var fantastisk, men min familj var överens om att allt var bra och över genomsnittet. Höjdpunkter var hummer MAC & TUNA TARTARE TACOS (De är 2 - mini tacos även om menyn inte anger det). 

En annan liten negativ, bordet gungade eftersom benen var ojämna. Kan låta dumt för vissa, men detta kan vara mycket irriterande när 4 personer äter. Jag har varit på andra high end restauranger där de omedelbart försöker lösa. 

Jag har alltid sett STK som en high end restaurang, men denna serviceupplevelse var inte i proportion till de priser som debiteras. Rekommenderar definitivt happy hour. Gå till baren efter jobbet. Om du verkligen vill äta, skulle jag föreslå att försöka nere.
