As perfect as a wine bar can get in New York - great wine list with some unique selections and great conversations with the staff who love their jobs. Food is spectacular and pairs great, including the beautiful steak they have. Would come back!

Awesome bites of food and a really fun wine list. Not a lot of food, but every bite was amazing. Clams with almond milk probably one of the best bites this year.

Love how they let you try a little bit of the wine before you order (wish more wine bars did this).

Great food, fast service, and decent atmosphere.

I dined solo and sat at the bar facing the kitchen - usually my favorite spot because I can watch all the action happen! Everyone seemed a little stressed out / super focused, and the bar seat was very hard and uncomfortable.

Food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the raw top neck clams with almond milk, and the banana mille fueille. I would def return just for the clams.

I would give the red snapper crudo a pass next time. It needed some element of acid or freshness to balance out the old bay type seasoning.

Very casual atmosphere for pretty pricey food. A little confused identity-wise.

Jag förstår varför de nominerades till James Beard. Coola vibbar med riktigt bra musik för inramningen. Unik publik men inte pretentiös. Boulevarden var slät. De stekta oliverna gjorde ingen besvikelse. Det enda andra stället jag har haft då var på mitt favoritställe i Rom: Trattoria Monti. De små ansjovisubåtarna påminde mig om Green Room på Ritz i Madrid. Jag kommer tillbaka för root beer float och hasselnötschoklad torte.

Bra middag. Vi gjorde reservationer i förväg. Delade musslor, nötköttstartar och en sallad. Stora Negroni och Vermouth med Soda. Underbar servitör Richard från Ukraina.

Undangömt i hjärtat av Lower East Side, har denna lilla oas helt stulit mitt hjärta — och inte bara för att det är ett stenkast från mitt hem. Mitt första besök var för en dejt, och det kändes som en scen från en romantisk film. Maten, dryckerna och servicen samlades i en symfoni av glädje. Det är onekligen något charmigt med denna plats, med sina uppfinningsrika rätter som är lika mycket en fest för ögonen som de är för gommen. 

Varje tugga spricker av smak, och även om portionerna lutar litet kompenserar presentationen och smaken för det tiofaldigt. Vinutbudet är en skattkammare av unika fynd, och cocktails? Tillverkad med omsorg och en skvätt nyck. 

Om jag bara kunde komma hit oftare, skulle jag! Det är den typ av plats som dröjer sig kvar i dina tankar och lockar dig tillbaka. Mitt enda lilla beklagande är sittplatser — de höga - övre bord och stolar är mer fashionabla än de är bekväma. Men även det bidrar till anläggningens lekfulla charm. Det sticker ut i grannskapet, en ljuspunkt bland de andra. 

Personalen är varm, välkomnande och imponerande kunnig, vilket bidrar till magin. Bokningar kan vara knepiga, men att gå in är väl värt ett försök. Och om du väntar är deras systerbar bredvid lika härlig, perfekt för att smutta på något speciellt medan du väntar på ditt bord på denna förtrollande pärla.

Kan bli trångt en bullrig, men sedan öppningen har lugnat mycket. Allt är en barstol utan ryggar, bara varnas. Maten är dock alltid fantastisk, personalen är fantastisk och vinet är alltid bra. Jag har bara varit här solo, och varje gång har varit bra.

Ganska trevligt urval av skaldjur. Utmärkt softshell krabba. De erbjöd rätter utan extra kostnad vilket var en trevlig överraskning.

Maten var mycket bra även om det inte är en mycket omfattande meny. Som en annan granskare nämnde du sitta vid höga bord så här är inte bra för någon som behöver en låg eller väldigt bekväm stol.

Om du vill ha en fantastisk måltid. Ja, Wildair borde vara på din lista. Om du vill ha hela menyn, ja, det borde du göra. Om du inte kan bestämma om du ska vänta på ett bord, borde du absolut.

Detta är en söt plats i Lower East Side tvärs över gatan från Russ and Daughter's Cafe. Du sitter vid höga toppar som påminner om skolborrar. De har också ett öppet kök.

Vi beställde potatis darphinen med Maine uni, biff tartare, svart maitake, confit bacon toast och fläsk milanese. Totalt var disken alla mycket bra. Det enda objektet som var bara okej var fläsk.

Tjänsten kan dock vara bättre. De glömde min drink och kom inte ihåg tills jag påminde dem 20 minuter senare. De fick också fråga mig om min order igen. Jag är alltid ganska irriterad när waitstaff försöker imponera genom att komma ihåg ordrar. Jag är mer imponerad när du skriver ner den och får min beställning rätt första gången.

Men allt som sagt, maten var bra och tjänsten var inte hemskt. Jag skulle komma tillbaka för att ge den en ny chans.

Om du bara går in på denna plats är det lite förbryllande. Menyn är inte riktigt självförklarande och den (omfattande) vinlistan har inget på den som man känner igen. Men det visar sig att servitrisen verkligen känner till sina grejer och hade mycket intressanta och välsmakande rekommendationer. Alla lite utanför misshandlad spår men mycket, mycket välsmakande. Jag måste komma tillbaka för att prova hummer och biffen - jag såg disken passera och de såg också läckra ut.

Vid ankomsten till New York från Atlanta beslutade min 22-åriga dotter och jag att vi skulle uppleva några av de lokala rätterna medan vi bodde i East Village. Som en riktig "foodie" som växte upp och tyckte inte om mycket mat har hon sökt ut en rad olika restauranger och måltider vart vi reser till. Därför gick jag med hennes val för kvällens måltid, vår första i New York tillsammans eftersom hon var väldigt ung.
Hon hade också valt platsen för oss att stanna så hon hade tillbringat flera veckor kolla alla recensioner som hon kunde hitta på lokala matsalar. För denna första måltid trodde hon att vi skulle försöka Wildair eftersom det bara var fråga om 2 minuter från vårt boende och vad en hitta.

Wildair verkar vara en liten del diskens och drycker plats att gå till innan faktiskt gå ut på middag, men vår erfarenhet var att det var långt mer än detta. Från det ögonblick som vi gick in i mysiga, varma, vänster i centrum bar visste vi att vi var i för några läckerheter. Platsen var utrustad på ett sätt som maximerade utrymmet, med folk som satt på långa bordsbord med avföring runt dem, men inrättades så att du ganska bekvämt kunde känna att du bara mats med ditt företag och inte alla de som satt bredvid dig

Dricksmenyn var begränsad, men innehöll ett utbud av öl, cider och naturvit och röda viner. Mat-menyn var inställd som provsmakning plattor, men de var de mest fantastiskt härlig smakprovning plattorna jag någonsin har upplevt. Grönsaker, kött, fisk etc var uppenbarligen alla färska, med varje maträtt har sin egen fantastiska smak med användning av olika hemlagade förband och tillbehör. Vi valde från menyn kakor, hummer och bukett crepes, Gem Lettuce och hasselnöt och choklad tårta (som vi var tvungna att beställa 2 som de var bara så fantastiskt)
Detta är verkligen en plats som jag rekommenderar starkt som både maten och atmosfären, liksom tjänsten som personal, var AMAZING! Vilken underbar introduktion till New York på en kall vinternatt, du kunde inte önska dig bättre.

Vi älskade allt om denna plats. Personalen var trevlig och professionell. Vinflaska vi beställde, en ros från jag tror Sicilien, var rimlig och läcker. Maten, bra maten, allt vi hade var helt utsökt. Ögonöppning utsökt. Bra jobbat. Kan inte vänta med att återvända, om bara för vinet och det eteriska brödet och oljan. Hur kan bröd och olja vara så bra?

Vid ankomsten till restaurangen blev jag omedelbart slagen av hög ljudnivå. Det var svårt att höra. Sittplatser och ingång är inte ADA-vänliga. Man sitter vid ett gemensamt bord med höga barstolar. För en plats som var bokad två veckor ut förväntat jag mer. Jag beställde en sallad och en timme + senare anlände det fortfarande inte. På frågande fick jag veta att vissa rätter tar tid. Vi varnas i förväg biff wagyu ($ 108 för 24 oz förmodade del) tar 50 minuter men inte om salladen. Förutom salladen beställde jag ett sortiment av ostar - två intetsägande smaklösa ostar och en blå ost ($ 16). Bröd (var varmt vilket var trevligt) och olivolja var anständigt ($ 4). Vinet vid glaset var mycket begränsat. Man var i princip tvungen att beställa en flaska. Jag försökte en och trots hype av "naturlig" var det inte för mig en $ 16 glas. I vårt parti av tre försökte en vän upprepade gånger beställa ett glas till ingen nytta - ingen personal uppmärksammades. För det mesta, bullret, dålig service var av att sätta. Det finns en viss atmosfär (frånkopplad från kunder) som inte sitter bra med mig. Rätter är dyr tapas alternativ - kammusslor var genomsnittliga som var nötkött tartare. Musslor hade lite spark men igen inget särskilt. Sötpotatis påminde mig om indiska "Misal" från Pune med smakerna. . . men övergripande smak som endive skaldjur maträtt var chockerande. Denna plats är inte sattvic, avkopplande, varm eller välkomnande. Personalen kände igen sallad och förde ut en jordgubbspanacotta som var så - så.
