One of the few places I order a whole fried fish for the table. Fantastic seafood dishes set in a modern but comfortable environment very fitting for that NOLA vibe!  I also like the fact that it is outside the French Quarter so parking is a bit easier. The staff were friendly and very professional. you can tell they work well as a team. they had one of the best Key lime pies but everything we ordered was great.

We recently dined at Peche and overall, it was a great experience. We had a reservation, but arrived a bit early, and they were able to accommodate us right away. One thing we did miss, however, was having some bread or a small appetizer to keep us satisfied while waiting for our meal. Also, while the staff was friendly, we would have appreciated it if our water cups were refilled proactively instead of having to ask for a refill.

We ordered the oysters, squid ink pasta, crab rice, and gumbo. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious, with only a few tiny pieces of shell, but they were so tasty that we ended up ordering another round. The vinegar they served with the oysters was also fantastic.

The squid ink pasta had a very small portion, but it was packed with flavor. The same could be said for the crab rice, which reminded me of Thai crab fried rice—rich and flavorful. The gumbo was also excellent, rich with deep flavors and just the right amount of spice.

Overall, it was a delightful meal, and we would definitely return. A little more attention to small details, like bread before the meal and proactive water refills, would make the experience even better.

Had a great dinner here - we loved every dish we ordered!  We were glad we made reservations a few weeks in advance because it was fully booked.  Between small plates, raw bar options, daily specials, and entrees, menu is made for sharing and has something for everyone.  Our primary server Jordan went out of her way to personally annotate an entire menu to help me figure out gluten-free options.

Great place to come for solid seafood. I like their grill-style, adds a creative element to the dishes. Everything was cooked well but my favourite was the 9/10 Florida Oysters and the 9.5/10 Prawn Toast! The gumbo was a pleasant surprise, plenty of seafood in there.

Visitors who enjoy dining al fresco or desire a patio experience during New Orleans’ pleasant weather may find this limiting. However, these are minor compared to the overall quality and service the restaurant provides.

Tyvärr måste vi ge denna restaurang tre stjärnor, trots den utsökta maten. Vi satt i baren eftersom vi inte hade en reservation. Barpersonalen, två unga kvinnor som arbetar på Pesche vardera i ett år, var ovänliga och sur, erbjuder dålig Service och även till vår förvåning, oförskämda kommentarer. Vi beställde flera förrätter och en hel kungsfisk, men fick noll Service efter att en foodrunner tagit med förrätten. Vi ignorerades i baren, bad flera gånger om en drink men fick inte, och upplevde mycket dålig, ovälkommen Service från dessa bartenders. Vi skulle inte återvända, trots den extremt vällagade maten. Tack till kocken. Bartenders krävde mer utbildning och säkert en lektion i artighet och uppförande.

Detta är vad jag hoppades New Orleans mat skulle vara. Gumbon hade ett häpnadsväckande djup. Stora och briny lokala ostron. Malda räkor kryddiga nudlar var perfekt balanserade och inte för varmt, och hög kvalitet stekt fisk med en god söt ölsås. Ett måste i NO.

Mycket genomsnittlig mat. Mycket av skaldjursfatet var översaltat eller mosigt. De andra små tallrikarna vi hade (stekta ostron, krabba capellini och malda räkor med nudlar) var antingen intetsägande eller överkryddade. Jag försökte beställa en flaska vitt vin (listan är väldigt dyr) och den första flaskan blev en röd som stod på den vita menyn och den andra gick inte att hitta. Servicen var bra men maten var dålig och långt under New Orleans skaldjursstandard.

Ostron var goda, men tonfiskkvaliteten var fruktansvärd. Den hade vita snören inuti som var tuggiga. Kunde inte ens skära den med kniv. Den var inte bara min då mina medarbetares tonfisk också var sådan. Så många bättre ställen att få fisk i NOLA, särskilt för 36 dollar. Kommer inte att gå tillbaka.

Varje gång jag äter här är det minnesvärt. Jag åt den grillade snappern. Superfärsk fisk enkelt och vackert vedgrillad. Intressanta drinkar. Stort urval av olika golfostron.

Om du vill uppleva en enastående skaldjursupplevelse, då måste du besöka. Det var så bra att stanna bara 4 dagar vi gick tillbaka. Maten är devine (krabbsallad är något jag kommer att minnas för evigt) , atmosfär smart casual, Servicen är perfekt. Andra gången vi gick lyckades en fluga på något sätt komma in i en flaska pinne som hade öppnats vid vårt bord och kom ut på sista hällen. De insisterade på att vi inte behövde betala, så jag lämnade dem en stor dricks istället.

Vi återvände till Peche efter ett besök för två månader sedan. Kålsalladen var en utmärkt förrätt. Jag njöt av den grillade tonfisken, som var perfekt tillagad, sällsynt, som jag vill ha den. En av de bästa tonfisk förrätter jag någonsin haft. Min fru hade Snapper Special, som smälte i din mun. Sidan av Grilled Zucchini var ett perfekt komplement till förrätterna. Du kan inte gå fel med desserter som Key Lime Pie eller Crepe Cake. Båda var rikliga portioner och inte alltför söt som jag har upplevt i andra anläggningar. Bill, vår server var stor som han svarade på alla våra meny - relaterade frågor och gjorde rekommendationer som var klockren.

Vår familj på sju besökte och vi var eniga om att maten och matkombinationerna är fruktansvärda. Kusin beställde fryst daiquiri då meddelades inga frysta drycker men kunde göra en på klipporna. Det var tequila eller mescal jag hade det enda nötköttsvalet. “Hängare” biff med är bringa men kunde inte säga det. Det är bara en del av ko som hänger sa de. Sent på eftermiddagen kom det ljus genom fönster och det flöt ludd i luften. Jag antar från servetter. Trevligt folk anständig inredning hemska recept och matlagning

Bokade i förväg. Visas till vårt bord några minuter efter ankomsten. Servicen var bra. Vi provade tre förrätter och två förrätter. Alla mycket trevligt. Såg ut och smakade gott. Skulle rekommendera.

Detta var vår favoritrestaurang under vårt senaste besök i januari 2023 , med unika och läckra rätter och cocktails. Det är fortfarande så gott, med allt från ceviche till gumbo, pasta Capellini till fiskpinnar, stekta ostron och marinerade räkor i en syrlig fisksås. Gintilly-cocktailen fungerade bra. Servicen var utmärkt.

Maten var utmärkt. Men vår middagsupplevelse fördärvades av ett oförklarligt fel i servicen. Vi informerades inte om förseningen i vår måltidsberedning medan vårt serveringsteam upprepade gånger gick förbi vårt bord till synes ignorerade oss. I slutändan chefen ingrep med ursäkter och en gratis flaska vin. Vi uppskattade hans ansträngningar att rädda vår erfarenhet som förstörde vad som borde ha varit en måltid höjdpunkt i vårt NOLA besök.

Detta var den bästa måltiden på hela vår resa. Utmärkt små rätter (men allt bra) , vänlig service, verkligen värt det.

Jag har haft Peche på min lista över platser att besöka i New Orleans i ett par år, och jag kan säga att det levde upp till mina förväntningar! För det första var vår server Joey den perfekta blandningen av engagerad, men inte alltför påträngande i vår lunch. Han var så kunnig, vänlig, personlig och en fröjd! Några av de bästa servicen jag har upplevt på någon nivå av restaurang runt om i världen. Lunchen var utsökt, med en underbar, omfattande vinlista. Utstickande var hyschvalparna med honungssmör. Den bästa någonsin! Vi njöt också av räkor huvudrätt, öl - smetad fisk och rostade rödbetor. Allt var exceptionellt. Vi var så mätta att vi var tvungna att ta vår dessert tillbaka till hotellet, och vi älskade den saltade karamellkaka, och Key lime paj senare som minnen av en underbar måltid.

Servicen var vänlig men mycket bråttom. Vi beställde 2 små tallrikar var och fick höra ”köket gillar att skicka ut alla tallrikar samtidigt”. Alla 4 tallrikar kom samtidigt och anlände innan våra drinkar. 

Maten var så - så. Vi beställde desserter och de var stora men helt okej. 

Restaurangen var verkligen bullriga och många bord var så hopklämda att folk hade problem att återvända till sina platser. 

Och mitt badrumsbås hade slut på toalettpapper.
