We went to the Copacabana Palace Hotel for breakfast earlier today, a Sunday.

It was a beautiful day, and the pool area was full. You can choose a table by the pool or inside; we chose inside because it was quite warm outside.

The buffet is really nice, and we were attended to by Alex and Reginaldo, who went above and beyond.

Reginaldo even shared a bit of the hotel’s history, and about the other two restaurants, which was superb.

Everything we asked for was taken care of promptly.

The buffet is spectacular, with high quality fresh fruits like mango, jabuticaba, and fruta-do-conde, which are rare to find.

We ordered eggs Benedict and omelets, which came from the kitchen, both were delicious.

Overall, it was top of the line, and I highly recommend it. It’s really worth it!

I had a flat white, and my wife had a cappuccino multiple times; both were amazing.

We can’t wait to go back. Five stars all the way!

One note for management: Inside, the air conditioning wasn’t very strong. I didn’t want to bother the staff, but it’s something to monitor. With many people inside, it got quite warm, especially on a sunny summer day. It should be a little cooler to improve the guests’ experience.

While staying at Cococabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, we had breakfast buffet at this restaurant. The selection of choices was outstanding. Very fresh fruits were delicious and tasty. Service and ambience were also great.

Vi gick dit (det är i Copacabana Palace) för middag som det stod bra grönsaksalternativ. Det var £ 87 (v v dyrt för Brasilien) för två huvudrätter, 2 glas vin, en dessert, en kaffe. Fantastisk upplevelse för vår sista måltid i Rio. Superb service i en vacker restaurang med en fantastisk atmosfär. Härlig måltid. Sätt våra två veckor på ett kryssningsfartyg på skam! Service bättre än många jag har upplevt i topp London hotell. Om vi återvänder till Rio vi kommer att boka in på detta hotell för säker!

Vi bodde på Copacabana Palace i två nätter och på båda kvällarna åt på Pergula. Servicen var exemplarisk, menyn varierad och ett bra urval av viner och cocktails. Vi åt Hummer Tempura som verkligen var magnifik, och biffarna tillagade till perfektion. Vi hade också frukost här som gäster och det fanns ett stort urval av frukost och som förväntat från detta fantastiska hotell servicen på frukosten var också utmärkt.

Vi åt i denna restaurang medan du bor på Belmond Copacabana Palace. Frukost, lunch och middag var genomgående bra. Maten var fräsch och utsökt. Personalen var alltid trevlig, välkomnande och uppmärksam. Disken rensades efter behov. Vin och vattenglas fylldes på. Personalen kontrollerade med oss under hela måltiden för att se till att allt var ok. Restaurangen har sittplatser inomhus och utomhus vid poolen. De erbjuder ett brett utbud av livsmedel för att möta de flesta preferenser. Cocktails var välbalanserade. Det är ett bra ställe att koppla av och njuta av god mat.

Glöm inte att besöka deras ”hall of fame” där du kan se 100 fotografier av kändisar som hotellet har som värd.

Pergula ligger i Copacabana Palace Hotel, vid den stora poolen. Mina räkor var utmärkta. Servitrisen, rätt. Priset var OK när det gäller kvalitet / prisförhållande. Hotellet är en så förfinad och vacker plats! . Det påminner mig om det klassiska Raffles Hotel i Singapore. En påminnelse om 1930-talet.

Vi hade planerat att ta en drink på Mee före middagen på Pergula men ingen var i baren. Cipranis ser bra ut men jag har varit på några av deras andra platser. Som lovat på en fredagskväll låter en DJ disko på verandan som var festlig. Det hade dock regnat så det var inte mycket folkmassa och det fanns inget riktigt barområde och ingen dans. De gav en god storlek häll vin. Servitrisen var väldigt söt och kommunicerade tillräckligt övergripande men hon talade bara trasig engelska. Nötkött-carpaccio med stekt lök var enastående. Marknaden fisk med grönsaker var intetsägande. En advokatsammanslutning var med på en semesterfest och vi tyckte om att stå i lobbyn och titta på folket komma ner på den röda mattan.

Väldigt fullt. . . och kaotisk. Tyckte inte mycket om det. Frukosten var rik på sin mångfald men personalen talade inte engelska, och det var så mycket bullriga.
