Such a stunning, immersive dining experience. Room4Dessert was recommended to me by fellow foodies in Melbourne-I can say with utter honestly that it was simply divine. The venue, staff and food were second to none. The care and genuine passion that each dish was created with was obvious in every manner, from the respect for local ingredients to the modern plating and presentation. I did the pairing with the spiritless drinks and this enhanced the luxury to another level. I look forward to returning to Ubud for many reasons, but Room4Dessert is high on the list!

Came here with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of moving across 3 different space in the restaurant for someone who can’t sit still in one spot for 2-3 hours.

I enjoyed the food selection and concept. I have never tasted dessert in such an intricate and delicate way before. I did the spiritless pairing and it was definitely worth it!

I came here on the recommendation of a friend. They greeted me very cordially, showed me around and told me about the dinner concept. They are very attentive to the guests. I liked the presentation, flavours and textures of the first part of the dinner. I've never tried the squid and mint combination before, and it's delicious. In the second part, the first two desserts were interesting, but then it seemed to be the same flavours. In the third part, I really liked the chilli sweets.
It was an interesting experience for me. I will also recommend this place to my friends.

The booking process was easy, and everything was very well organized. As pescatarians who do not drink alcohol, we appreciated how well our dietary preferences were accommodated. The menu was spread across three locations, with five dishes served at each venue. The desserts were delightful—delicious and not overly sweet. We were pleasantly surprised by how many desserts we could enjoy, even after all the other courses!

Here’s my take on this menu;
Savories were nice, simple, straightforward bites, squid noodles was my favorite bite for its char & good use of local ingredients.
For the 5 main desserts, all the desserts had sound technique and were well executed with zero flaws. Incidente Stradale took my top place for it’s balance, Foosteps being 2nd for my bias to Bubur Injin.
The initial 2  desserts while had nice story to them & tasted great, I felt that the use of fruit to main component could’ve been better balanced in regard to their placement in courses. After ending on a heartier savory pork dish, I thought perhaps more granita in place of the tableside sauce-pour for the 1st dessert would’ve played a better palate cleansing role. Similarly, I think Cashew has a  very rich assertive flavor in the 2nd dessert that would benefit with more fruit component in each bite.
For the petits experience, again I wished the use of fruit was a little more upfront in the mango cone and the poky. The nuances of acidity & tropical ripeness that make fruits like Rosella and Mango great, I felt were not showcased enough.
Overall I would say R4D is definitely an experience to try at least once.
Hospitality is exceptional as I expect from a place with numerous accolades. The dishes while had amazing execution, does leave more room for improvement.
