An absolutely amazing experience. One of a kind. The chef and his wife are very kind and put on a wonderful spectacle. The music choice and meal descriptions are very lively and fun.

いつか行きたいなぁ、と思っていたSECRETO。たまたまお誘いいただいて、貸し切りの会に。オープンしたのが2017年10月ということで、ちょうど7周年を迎えたばかり。

19時開始のちょっと前（18時45分ぐらい）にお店はオープン。最初にバースペースで会計を済ませ、ウェルカムドリンク（スパークリング）を頂きつつ、同席の方と談笑をしていると、オープンの合図とともに、奥の個室に案内される。少し薄暗い店内はカウンターで12席。ちょっと派手目な演出とともにシェフが登場。まさに劇の開演。

この日の料理はこんな感じ。
・秘密のハート
・蓮根餅
・のどぐろ・蟹・サフラン
・バインミー
・フォアグラフレンチトースト
・ニョッキ・ペコロス・チーズ・ポルチーニ・トリュフ
・蕪・胡瓜・塩ポン酢・ゆず・信子の梅
・穴子・焼きナス・ゴボウ
・能登牛イチボ・シチュー・マッシュルーム
・土鍋ご飯・鯖・西京漬け
・梨・柿・‐196℃
・フレッシュハーブティー
・お楽しみ会

細かく説明してしまうと、ちょっとネタバレ感があるので、最初の数品程度で。とにかくシェフはテンションが高い。料理に対しても真剣で、そしてお客さんにもとにかく丁寧だ。

・秘密のハート：ハートのガラスの上にハートが乗る。一口で食べてくださいという合図で頬張るとすっと外殻が割れる。と爽やかな香りが口に広がるが、その秘密は「洋梨と緑茶」。
・蓮根餅は見た目がたこ焼き。色々考えて、逆にたこ焼きに寄せていったという一品だが、隠し味のマスタードマヨが良かった。
・お寿司風の一品はパエリア。アサリとサフランライス（しゃり代わり）、ずわいがにとノドグロの昆布締め。ソースはアイオリ。これは食べたことがない。
・バインミーの中身は焼き豚。こちらの隠し味はレバーペースト。見た目に反して柔らかいパンが特徴的。細かいが、ベトナムの食器を使っているところが素晴らしい。オリジナルのスリーブまでついてくる。

品数は多いけど、一つ一つのボリュームは大きくない。ただ、どれも手を抜いていなくてクオリティが高い。シェフが一人ひとりに向き合っていて、全く飽きさせない。

一人一人に向き合うけど、ゲスト全員の一体感も感じられる。いいお店だったなぁ。また、いつか行ける日まで。

SECRETO is something I've always wanted to go to someday. I happened to be invited to a private party. It opened in October 2017, so it just celebrated its 7th anniversary.

The shop opens a little before the 19:00 start (around 18:45). First, you pay in the bar area, enjoy a welcome drink (sparkling), and chat with the people sitting with you, then you will be guided to a private room in the back with the signal that the restaurant will open. The slightly dim interior has 12 seats at the counter. The chef appears with a slightly flashy performance. It's like the beginning of a play.

If I explain it in detail, it will be a bit of a spoiler, so I'll just talk about the first few items. Anyway, the chef is very excited. He is serious about his cooking and is very polite to his customers.

・Secret Heart: A heart rests on a heart-shaped glass. When I stuff my mouth with it as a signal to eat it in one bite, the outer shell instantly cracks. A refreshing aroma spreads in your mouth, but the secret is "pear and green tea."
・Lotus root mochi looks like takoyaki. After much consideration, I ended up choosing Takoyaki instead, but the secret ingredient, mustard mayo, was good.
・Paella is a sushi-like dish. Clams and saffron rice (instead of rice), snow crab and red-throated seaweed with kelp. The sauce is aioli. I've never eaten this before.
・The inside of banh mi is grilled pork. The secret ingredient here is liver paste. Contrary to its appearance, the bread is soft. It's detailed, but it's wonderful that they use Vietnamese tableware. It even comes with the original sleeve.

There are many items, but the volume of each item is not large. However, none of them have been cut short and the quality is high. The chef takes care of each person individually, so you won't get bored at all.

Although I interact with each guest individually, I also feel a sense of unity among all the guests. It was a nice shop. Until the day I can go again.
