Wonderful experience; with inconsistency in service which needs to be improve.

Food presentation & wine pairing was done well to a high degree; with bold mix of ingredients. Table side finishes were nice touches to a bit of drama to the dining experience.

The birthday celebration was delightful; with a small music box presented to add to the atmosphere.

Side notes - Inconsistency in service incidents:
1. Promised to present a fresh set of chopsticks box with the full selection for photo taking. This was not presented.
2. Lack of attention to water refill and fresh ice. As customer paid for the water service, attention to details should be made.

Perfect culinary experience. Excellent food tasting menu, impeccable service, classy ambiance, great story telling. No wonder they are in Asia's top 50 list. Kudos to Chef Zor Tan and the entire crew!

Fantastic experience. Went there out on a whim with a few friends from Australia. The storytelling wins here, the way it married with every dish, and the sense of history each plate delivers. Service and ambience felt luxurious, a testament to their taste and level of excellence. Go there wearing your best dress, the shiniest of shoes and your favourite stories with friends.

It was such an honour and a lucky experience to have a table, and I can't wait to go there again.

We had a wonderful experience at Born. The courses were creative with a mix of asian and french cooking. Taste was heavier on the savoury umami side.
Service is good and attentive but they missed that i am a left hander.
The restaurant is very spacious with a very creative and interesting centerpiece hung from the ceiling.
Location is at the center, but recommend to take a taxi there as parking is difficult to find and you need to walk a distance.
Toilet is clean and spacious, however only have basic amenities. There were no floss, hair tie or mouthwash provided.

Had an amazing birthday dinner at Born by Chef Zor. His creations were truly spectacular and impressive, never a menu where I wasn’t wowed!

Definitely can tell why and how Born received its coveted recognitions: one michelin star, #25 of Asia’s Best 50 restaurants, and other awards.

I am very impressed! Amazing flavors, breathtaking presentation, impeccable service, and unique dining experience overall.
