WOW. What can I say? Amazing culinary experience. This place should easily have a michelin star, but still underrated. The food was amazing, the wine pairing is a MUST. The service was top notch!! Will definitely come back!

The manager is such a nice lady. I was so impressed on my first visit that I came the following weekend. The food is presented beautifully. I loved each and every plate. Im so excited to go back. I'm so glad they are on the Michelin guide now!

Innovative cuisine at its finest.

A good innovative cuisine is the trinity of creative  ingredients, inventive flavors, and masterful execution. Dishes at Siio display each of these aspects flawlessly by incorporating the best elements of Korean, Japanese, and European cuisines.

The 8 course dinner that I had for Christmas dinner here was undoubtedly one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had. Majority of the dishes exhibited sophisticated flavors with unconventional ingredients. Among the first few dishes, the combination of beets with fatty amberjack, candied hazelnut, and yogurt sauce was the most memorable.

Other highlights of the meal include the lightly seared lobster in egg yolk and sake foam and fried red tilefish in barley, shiitake, and parsley stew. Simplicity of the uni pasta with the wasabi sauce and chives was also enjoyable, and even the bean sprouts ice cream with rosemary jelly and butter crumble was fantastic.

Although Siio is only on the Michelin’s guide, the overall experience was definitely much more. Their dinner course did come at a hefty price tag, but the experience was worth every penny.

I recently visited for a business lunch and was impressed by the restaurant’s exceptional food, which is remarkable given its recent establishment and consecutive mentions in the Michelin Guide. However, the service fell short of Michelin standards. The server was unprepared to answer questions about portion sizes and neglected basic dining etiquette, creating a rushed and uncomfortable atmosphere. While the cuisine was outstanding, the service failed to meet the high expectations, which is crucial for a complete dining experience.

This is a restaurant with inspiration from both France, Italy and Japan.

We had the lunch menu that was 45 000 krw, a great price for the five dishes we got.

For starter we had shrimp, from Malaysia, maybe not the most sustainable food you could think of, but the taste was great. Second dish was three fish sashimi-style with bunch of umami from the tomatoes and herbs. This was amazing. Then there was steak from Italy, with bacon, taste was great but a bit "meat on meat". There was a few green peas on the plate, but there should probably have been more. Then came pasta, one of the better pastas I ever had, cudos. It was with much taste of clams, with bamboo shots and bottarga. Finally we got a well balanced desert with a byproduct-sake-icecream that was magnificent.

Interior is stylish and rustic with an open kitchen.

We had a Korean wheat beer that was very good, a bit overpriced maybe.

I really hope that the owner realize that in this price segment they should source more local ingredients, and please, we got a cotton towel, we don't need paper as well.
