Definitely a memorable dining experience. We went for the 7pm seating and it was the last one on a Friday night. It was booked 3 weeks ahead of us flying out from NYC as a friend suggested it would be ideal for birthday celebration. It was a 12 course meal which we went along with wine pairing. They were flexible with swapping out wines we didn’t like such as White for Red instead. The service was superb with description of food plus wine pairing. We’ve had many set menu’s before and 12 is a bit excessive as towards the end I couldn’t enjoy the duck and wagyu beef. *note: they take a deposit upon booking and the meal is $250 USD + ~$60-70 for wine pairing which is quite a price tag for any country. I don’t know if I’d go back but would highly recommend for people who are prepared to spend at least $300 for meal!

Amazing dining experience at Akin, I always enjoy Chef Kin Lam’s creative cuisine and this time is even more impressive. I have tried their new autumn menu, Chef Kin combined Taiwan, Japan, HK and south east Asia ingredients, spices and herbs to present his harmonious dishes. Besides the dishes, I enjoyed the wine pairing a lot, sommelier Beta introduced me some interesting yet unique and nice wine to me. Looking forward to my next visit to Akin already.

Very delicious food. The chef or the waitress will explain the food when it is served. Expensive but worth the money. Service is excellent. Will come again when visit Taipei

food was okay but the portion was ridiculously small. I was still hungry when I left. had to get food from other place. would not recommend this to friends.
