I came here in December 2024 with my partner for the 21-course omakase lunch. We had a very intimate and personal experience as we were the only reservation for that time slot. The food and drink was so delicate and finely tuned. The freshness of the seafood was exquisite. And we really enjoyed the explanations of the Executive Chef who told us about all the different types of fish, and squid, and other ingredients and where they came from in Kyushu. The intricately cut squid and eel were particular highlights that were prepared with precise skill and care. We felt very lucky to have the restaurant to ourselves and we were so grateful for their immense hospitality. Thank you, again.

Stunning. Best sushi I've ever had, with service that's very classy yet friendly and welcoming. I had at least 5 dishes I could reasonably call my favorite, and I have no notes on anything I ate. It honestly blew my mind. My green tea and sparkling water were watched constantly and filled the moment the cups flirted with emptiness,  which is a blessing for this climate. And the green tea is perfect, too.

I highly recommend this to solo diners, as the food pace is pleasantly brisk and watching your chef in action is consistently interesting. My chef was also happy to talk about the food with me in great English and was very charming.

Amazing food, absolutely fantastic and friendly chef plus great service. Everything is delicious, well presented and thoroughly explained in English by the chef.

The experience is worth 5 stars, and the only thing that disappointed is the very misleading advertising by the W hotel and their own Google description. They make it sound like this restaurant has 2 Michelin stars, when it in fact doesn’t have any, it’s the original one in Japan that has two stars.

Overall a great but pricey experience for a non Michelin restaurant, but hopefully they will get their own stars soon!

Excellent Japanese Omakase. Totally we had 21 courses (see the picture). Chef explained in English with pictures in the iPad for customer like myself who doesn’t speak Japanese. Only have 8 seats and one chef serves 4 seats, so it goes very smooth. Wide range of Sake choices and worth to try the specialty tea.
