We’ve had a mixed experience at this place. The food was good (not great), but the service and atmosphere were the biggest letdown. Staff were a bit stiff and non-friendly, and took super long time between courses, which didn’t make for a nice flow of the dinner— the meal took 5 hours.
Our table for two felt too big and more like a desk, the big lamp above our heads was super low and was an obstacle to having an intimate conversation with my partner who was sitting across but felt very far. Added to that lack of intimacy was the choice to have one person sit on a plush sofa big enough for two people, while the other person across was sitting on an ordinary chair; this was not equal sitting for a nice dinner for two. Some tables were round and smaller, and had the chairs closer to each other, those felt more intimate and nicer, unfortunately we weren’t seated at one of them.
Also, I’ve noticed the men were served more intricate silverware than the one served for women. It was kinda weird and affected the whole aesthetic of the table setting.

It was nice to go to the kitchen and get served by the chef, but it kinda felt a bit gimmicky, especially given the chef was not very friendly and the table in the kitchen was too big, ugly, and uncomfortable.

Overall, the food was good, but the atmosphere and service need serious upgrades to justify the price. We’ve tried two other Michelin starred restaurants in Bordeaux, and this one did not live up to the standard.

Excellent fine dining experience. They’re clearly pushing for more Michelin accolades so now is a great time to go. You get chef’s table treatment and plenty of staff to attend to your every whim. The food was excellently cooked and they were trying some interesting flavours and experiences. The setting is perfect as well.

A Fine Michelin Experience in Bordeaux! Do not hesitate to visit this fine restaurant. We visited this restaurant while visiting Bordeaux and can say easily it was one of the best meals of our lives. The staff was so professional and the art of the food was over the top. We want to thank our server Annette for an amazing night.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, the service was impeccable and each dish was marvelous. You can tell that every aspect of the meal has been considered. Save this for a special occasion, it’s such a memorable evening.

We made a mistake and came one day later but they accept us! Really appreciated to the manager !
The service is of the very high level. You will spend here like 4 hours . There are a lot of presents from the chef.
Collection of wine is very good!
The location is magnificent! We stayed in the hotel near-by , so I don’t know how is the parking.
