The place is super cute like we're inside a cave/rock, super cool. The staff are friendly and helpful, ordered a steak and it came great, tasty. Friend's carbonara was good too. Their Culurgiones had mint on them (the traditional way) and the pasta itself is a tiny bit softer and mushier then the ones I tried in other restaurant so I am not a fan of that.

We had a really excellent experience. Food was great. Service, despite a language barrier (I wish I knew Italian) was helpful and pleasant. We had a variety of pasta and grilled/roasted meats. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a traditional Sardinian meal.

Highly recommended for them, who wishes to taste traditional sardinian dishes.
So lovely interior, kind welcome and very friendly, wonderful service. I had carbonara alla sardo and roasted pork meat with potatos. This last, must to try, specially when you are hungry 🙂

Second time here in 2 weeks.... excellent porceddu I have tasted it in 4 different places around Sardegna but this remains the best. Keep up the good work guys. Highly recommend and prices are fair, pasta is also very good.

We planned to try Sardinian Kitchen during our visit to Cagliari.
They have 2 different restaurants close to each other.
We tried meat restaurant. The other is fish restaurant.
I think Su Chumbidu meat restaurant was a correct decision. We asked for support from waiter and tried really local meat, pasta and deserts there. They serviced very delicious bread also. You should try with balsamic vinegar, black pepper and olive oil. Thanks for the workers for their kind services.
