I’m happy that now they have a bakery as well. They have absolutely delicious almond croissant and small sourdough sandwich bread. I really liked the cinnamon bun too. Normally my fav is cardamom bun but the cardamom bun here lacks a bit of sweetness (I don’t like it too sweet either). But otherwise, the dough is very soft and delicious. Their plain croissant and sourdough loaf bread are also pretty good.

Hate that it took me so long to finally get here. Service on point, wine on point and the food ❤️ The duck was hands down the best duck I’ve ever had. It makes you feel like you’re in an upcoming bar in NYC. Amazing vibe for Oslo. And very gluten free friendly. I’m celiac, so major plus.

Review of the bakery part:

I came here on a Sunday and I definitely think it is better to come here when the bakery-hype has died down a bit. Right now it’s newly opened.

The place is crammed with people (and a line outside), so it is not the most relaxing atmosphere in between everyone trying to order. Due to the amount of people it also takes some time to get the food and drinks.

I came for the pastrami sandwhich, but they had it with pork neck instead. Fine with me, but I ended up paying 210nok for a sandwhich and a rhubarb drink. The sandwhich I asked for was clearly priced at 125nok, so either they calculated wrongly or I actually paid 85nok for a small rhubarb store bought limonade. If so, I would say it is rather expensive. Maybe they added even more to the sandwhich price as they had sold out of pastrami but not pork? Regardless, it turned out to be an expensive lunch.

When the sandwhich arrived I was surprised that it was not cut open. I got a whole breadroll as the top layer (never seen this thick and funky twist before). Maybe it is a bit too hectic in the kitchen these days?

The sandwhich itself was good. Nice flavours, but a bit more filling wouldn’t hurt.

Overall ok food at a very busy (and expensive) cafe.

Came here for the Sunday roast, there were five of us. Really delicious and filling meal for a chilly Sunday. Our roast was pork belly with an arrangement of vegetable sides. Service is a little bit slow but no complaints really.

The concept of the restaurant has his main focus on local food with surprisingly well managed tastes. The decoration in the restaurant ie very alternative and the food is served on old second hand plates. The overall sperience compared price is very nice.
