My best experience of a restaurant in my 7 days of Stavanger Norway!  Every item was carefully prepared & presented with the utmost precision & aesthetics!  It’s pleasing to the eye first then to your palate!  Properly portioned & timed so you were never too full to have another bite.  Wine collection is quite unique & appropriate!  1 of 8 Michelin recommended restaurants in Stavanger.  Though no star has been awarded, the dinning experience is as great as it can be!!  Will come back again!

Amazing food both tasty and beautiful and great service! The wine was also extremely good - go for a wine package it is worth it! My warmest recommendations to the best restaurant I have ever visited in Norway! Big plus for understanding allergies and intolerances. Thank you for making the evening so special!

We had supper at POLKA. It is a new concept, based on "social grilling". So there is an electric grill in the middle of each table, one orders different meats or vegetables and grills by themselves. Looks cool, but there are two major flaws: experience with grilling time (different for different meats) and whatever you order it is raw (no marinate or anything else). But for sure worth to try.

Very nice food as per usual. The 5 (7) course dinner is 1190 + 890 for the standard wine package.

We also opted for the 2 extra dishes. The cheese was ~450, the caviar was a surprising 1200, bit steep for crunchy waffles, rømme and kaviar. I do wish the waiter had informed on the extra’s costs, the same way they market the standard vs exclusive wine package, and their relative prices. Probably won’t get the extras next time.

Still amazing food and great service. Highly recommend.
