Amazing food, really great flavours!
The time between the courses was too short, it felt like we were in a hurry. The waitresses seemed like they stressed around for no reason, even though we didn’t needed it all to be so rushed. But overall really great food and the waitresses were really nice.

A hidden gem under the stairs.
Delicious and creative food, cozy atmosphere, changing art exhibitions.
The servers are kind and attentive, with a very knowledgable sommelier.
We also got the potato "capuccino" and a whole plate of their mussels as a surprise (it wasn't a birthday or any celebratory occasion) and after chatting with the sommelier, she got us each an extra glass of cider (the best I've ever had) to go with the apple dessert (one of the best I've ever had).
The quality of the meal/experience for the price is unbeatable.

Lasai in Bilbao served up one of the best lunches we’ve ever had—no joke! We went for their “Crystal Menu,” and it was a nonstop parade of standout dishes. The “Drunken Blue Crab Trilogy” was the perfect start, followed by roasted scallops that came with an amazing coconut garlic sauce and a clever mix of dried tomato and date tartare. Every dish had something that made us go, “Wow!”

The grilled Begi-Handi with mushroom ragout and pig’s trotters in cod foam? That one seriously blew our minds—so unique and flavorful. The roasted hake, with its lacquered sweetness and creamy green sauce, was just as unforgettable. And don’t get us started on the boneless, crispy suckling pig. With the cherry jam and ginger vinaigrette, it hit all the right notes of sweet, savory, and tangy.

By dessert, we were all smiles. The spicy mango and chocolate iced cookie was the perfect mix of heat and sweet, and the Goxua—a traditional Basque treat—ended the meal on a high.

This was honestly one of the best bills we’ve had, and here’s the kicker: it was lunchtime! Now, we’re seriously curious about what their dinner service has in store. We definitely want to come back and try it out—we’re already counting down!

I had a menu for lunch here. It was 👌🏽. Lasai has earned it two stars with flying colours.

The degustation menu was terrific. There were texture, taste and beautiful presentation. The pace of serving was good. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly as well, making the dining experience better.

The in 72 hour slow cooked veal was worth a mention.

Keep it up team Lasai. I would love to come back here again.

I can just only highly recommend this place. Tried the tasting menu Crystal. Both, food and service were impeccable. Sommelier had great knowledge about each of the wines they were serving. She really made a difference - pairing wine menu was just spot on. Booking process for the evening was also very easy and professional. Definitely looking forward to come back next time.
