I went to interlude for lunch with a comprehensive wine tasting of their new sparkling wine range. I have to say it is by far the best food experience I have ever had. This wasn't just a set tasting menu this was a journey mastered by chef Jean Delport, heightened by exceptional service and atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed how we transitioned through the rooms as we progressed through the courses.

This place is absolutely amazing! We celebrated mamma’s birthday and had an extraordinary experience that made us feel like family. As we arrived, we were greeted by adorable wallabies and surrounded by beautiful fields. The food was a work of art, and everyone was incredibly friendly. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Interlude offers more than incredible cuisine, it is a complete experience & journey for the dinner. Incredible memories were made at our New years dining experience last night, we were made to feel so special at all times and every detail of our complex dietary requirements were meticulously remembered for each of us.

Our warm welcome & expert non alcoholic drink preparation from Ndosi was absolutely wonderful & delicious, and Anya the manager ensured every detail and meal transition of the evening was immaculate. The food was absolutely exceptional: ingredients, flavours & textures even temperatures all made full advantage of & we loved learning the South African elements of our food!

We adored the live cooking elements of the dishes, and the adding of sauces and garnishes at the table from the chefs who deeply impressed us. We felt very lucky to meet & learn from Jean Delport who prepared our South African dip in miniature hot pans and enthused about our course to us and left us with an overall excitement of understanding of the creative process that goes into each dish we experienced.

We were deeply impressed by every staff member, front of house & chefs each able to give detailed explanation from the heart about each dish on our culinary journey. I must mention that Helena looked after us at the table beautifully.

Simba was knowledgeable and kind and made my son feel really special and included at desert time (as he doesn’t like sweet desserts) by giving him a detailed explanation and tour of the cheeses which my son age 9 absolutely loved being given this time and explanation.

I can’t recommend Interlude enough. This is a dinning experience you will never forget, it is truly special and the food, meticulous detail and kindness from all staff unparalleled.

Just incredible food and ambiance! The South African origin of the chef makes the food and the tastes so unique. Oh, and they serve coffee from my fave coffee company: Difference Coffee. I recommend Interlude to everyone visiting the area. The grounds and gardens are also magnificent. Unforgettable experience.
