We checked in on my birthday. It was king room. Very cozy. Love the Aesthetic! The bathroom mirror was so cute. The bed was comfortable. I love that Alexa was available in the room. And also the cute retro fridge that was in the room was nice. The location is great. Its near all the restaurants and places I wanted to go. I don’t know about the parking because we used a parking app and stayed in a garage for $17 overnight! Anyway I would definitely stay here again. The only problem I had was a personal one, my room was decorated with balloons and rose petals but the ones on the wall couldn’t hold very well. I think one of the walls is like a chalkboard.

This is a different hotel - I grew up in the 80's/90's and it looks like the designer of this hotel did also (but never outgrew their goth/emo phase). The theme is just a bit odd and trying too hard - or maybe I'm getting old :-). The bed was nice but the room we stayed in was small with dark walls, window looking at a wall and odd choice of decoration (if not a bit dystopian). HVAC blew right down on your head. Bathroom was not as clean as one would expect but just ok. Room rate was good for the area and it definitely was not a terrible place to sleep for a night - room was quiet - but overall just a hotel trying too hard to have a dark retro edgy feel but missing the mark perhaps due to age (or due to my taste). Anyway, it fit the bill for our last minute, affordable, place to sleep in downtown. Parking was convenient in the adjacent public structures if you use the SpotHero app ($20 vs $60 if you don't use the app). Area is a busy spot with casino across the street and lots of interesting people walking the streets. Area felt safe enough as many people of all types in the area but definitely many young couples/singles out for the night bar hopping. Hotel lobby bar was loud and thumping music but didn't hear anything in the room. If you're looking for a reserved peaceful clean newer hotel experience, this is not it. But then again, the price was right and the location was ok if not a little busy. Not a room I would want to spend any time in though. Check in staff were transactional (don't expect too many smiles here). If Depeche Mode were a hotel.

Wow!!! Absolute 10 out of 10!!! I am very very happy I choose to stay at the ACME hotel ! Service is top notch. As soon as I walked through the door I knew I was in good hands. Michael was so accommodating and friendly! He made me feel so welcomed. I wanted a room with a view and he made it happen ! Also, he gave me a voucher for a great restaurant! Thank you. I have the best view of the city and I couldn’t be happier. My room is everything I could have asked for and more. I loveeee the decor of the hotel and my room is so gorgeous. Another thing, the bar downstairs is a vibe! Thanks so much ACME for making my Chicago stay a dream ;)

This is a hip hotel with a fun music theme. Rooms are compact but well stocked with a little mini fridge and a robe along with a large TV that has access to seemingly 3,000+ channels. Seriously, there are multiple channels of just different fireplaces! The rainfall shower head is the best one of these I've ever experienced with actual water pressure. The hotel is a convenient one-block walk from the train, and numerous busses are in the area, along with plenty of restaurants and bars. The only downside is that the neighborhood is LOUD at night on the weekends. Staying on the 3rd floor was not especially fun until about 1:30am when things quieted down. I'd advise asking for a higher floor.

Love this hotel! I have stayed here multiple times for concerts and mini weekend trips and never disappointed. The service is great, very aesthetically pleasing, and ideal location. It is close to some good food, bars, and attractions when you want to visit Chicago. Nice they have smart TVs too for Youtube and other apps! Prices are usually very reasonable too for being downtown. Overall, really great .
