This hotel is a great value! The Weber Grill is attached, and offers great dining options, and an excellent breakfast. The shower in my room must feature the world's strongest water pressure. I'm not kidding! It was 3-5x more powerful than any shower I've EVER experienced. I was on the 16th floor, I could still hear the city below, but it wasn't bad. The hotel also has a very convenient self-service 24-hour snack shop, featuring lots of grab-n-go food and drink options. I will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Chicago was a bit of a mixed experience. The location is fantastic—plenty of great places within walking distance, which made exploring the city easy and convenient.

However, the check-in process was frustrating. They didn’t have my reservation on file, so we had to wait for about half an hour while traveling with two exhausted kids. Because of this mix-up, I didn’t get the corner room I had paid extra for, which was disappointing.

On the bright side, the breakfast was great, and the staff working in the dining area were incredibly kind and attentive. They made sure we were taken care of, which was a much-needed positive after the rough check-in.

Overall, while the location and breakfast service were great, the check-in experience left a bad taste. Hopefully, the hotel improves their reservation system to avoid putting other guests in the same situation.

Great location.
Hotel is good but believe or not.. you cannot sleep at all. The windows are not sound proof so the whole night you hear everything. It feels like the ambulance and fire truck is inside the room. You hear honks and people like crazy. I was on the 14th floor and did not have a good experience about it at all.

Stayed one night, check in/out was smooth. Parking convenient but a bit confusing and we were followed in the parking deck upon exiting the vehicle. Upon entering the room it was 95 degrees. Not very pleasant after getting off the road. But it didn’t end there. The thermostat was faulty and we called front desk twice and no one responded to our room. Hours later we figured it out. It was either really cold or really hot in different areas of the hotel. HVAC system wonky. Shower pressure was amazing and TV was good. Pool was small and the room itself was freezing. Gym was nice.

Nice hotel. Room was very clean. View was fantastic. The hotel is within walking distance to so much, and there’s a cta line stop right outside the front door.

Parking ramp is connected to the hotel and was $28 for 25 hrs through SpotHero.

One note - this hotel is within a block or two from the fire station so you will hear a lot of sirens!
