Absolutely amazing experience.  You can tell each and every ingredient was picked with care and intent.  Each dish was unique and the ingredients used were different from what you'd expect from a sushi or omakase restaurant.

The family staff was a delight to be around and incredibly kind, respectful, and welcoming.  They were the epitome of Japanese worth ethic and warmth.

Amazing is all I can say.

I had an unforgettable experience at this hidden gem of a Kaiseki restaurant. The flavors were unlike anything I've ever tasted—simple yet incredibly complex, with every dish bursting with depth. The small, intimate setting with just eight seats made it feel so personal and welcoming, and the service from the chefs and host was top-notch. It was truly a culinary journey, every bite better than the last. To top it off, the host and chef walked us out, waited with us, and waved until our taxi was out of sight—now that's next-level hospitality. If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine, this place is an absolute must-try!

Had an unforgettable Omakase experience at Tozentei. The location is at some residential area and therefore is a little out of the way. But those who made an effort to visit this little gem will definitely be rewarded.

Run by a family unit, this restaurant emphasizes on the ingredients and the attention to details. The lady who is also the mum makes an effort to tell us the ingredients they used and how to best appreciate the dishes.

The chawanmushi is probably one of the best I ever had. The tuna and uni hand roll simply melts in my mouth. The fish soup is really refreshing as the plum adds a very interesting dimension to it. The highlight has to be the salt-baked Isami Wagyu. A great way to end the night.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. We didn’t realize how small and intimate the experience was here. It’s a small family tending to you while you dine and the food is divine. The uni course was easily my favorite. The mom who does the serving… I am so impressed by her service. She really made me feel cared for. I left this meal and wept. It was just so wonderful and so special. I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.

A delicious kaiseki experience with a warm atmosphere!

Each exquisite course here was prepared delicately and had rich, complex flavors.

On top of that, the Watanabe family was so thoughtful and kind - all 3 of them even stood outside in the cold with us while we waited for our taxi.
